I love this cooker. I use it for boiling maple sap down to maple syrup (40 to 1 ratio, in gallons - I make 4-5 gallons of syrup a year, you do the math). Anyway, this sucker is running 4-7 hours a day 7 days a week for several weeks from the end of Feb through the end of March. Reliable and performs well. Two notes: 1) Burners have a tendency to blow out in strongish winds, if you're using this in consistent winds, you may want to construct a wind break for it. 2) I did have to return the original one I received. The first one showed up with a bent frame and one burner would not stay lit. Amazon exchange was super easy, second one arrived with no defects and worked perfectly.

After buying something like this for my own house my in law wanted want too, so I found this outdoor burner that was a bit cheaper than the one I got. The price difference was around $10.Built:The metal that was used was a bit cheaper looking then the more expensive one but it been holding up pretty well for heavy cooking. My in laws use cook big pots with crab, lobster and used it for cooking stock as well. The look isn't as pretty as the other one on amazon but it look ok enough to do the job. It probably not the best looking but it is dependable.Performance:The overall performance was great, the flames are extreme high and does not use up a lot of propane. Similar to another one I got with almost using it for cooking every other day for an month we still have some used up the normal propane tank (like the one you get at home depot). The flames are also very blue so the cooking is very clean and does not leave those black marks on the pot and pans. Overall cooking on this things has been easy and clean. Perfect for those who love to cook and live outdoor. Would recommend getting this one if you're looking for something cheaper in price. Conclusion:Summer is coming and if you like to cook outside and don't want to break the bank, I would buy this.

After a "whole-lota" research, I kept coming back to this one. I did not purchase this unit for camping, my main purpose was for high heat capability, for "Chinese wok" cooking. Mission accomplished! This thing really produces the necessary BTU's needed for any recipe that even a commercial kitchen has to produce & does it in a controlled, simple & direct manner. I've also found the unit to be built like a tank & very easy to control,(temperature wise)... I will admit that price was a contributing factor... but not before the fact that it has the power capacity of 54,000 BTU's per burner...(as the product description states)... I've had it for almost two months at the time of this review, and have done a dozen or more cooks on it, some of which I utilized my cast iron equipment (Griddle, Dutch Oven, Skillets,...ETC.) I am a self-proclaimed armature Chef, and that comes with some very messy cooking sessions & I can tell you that my wife is very happy to see more of my cooking being done on my dedicated BBQ deck, (smokers, charcoal grill, gasser, & now this stove.) out back in the corner of the yard, instead of in the kitchen... Assembly and hook up was a breeze. It is also portable enough to move to the garage in inclement weather. The unit seems to be very fuel efficient, I have a fuel gauge on my standard 20lb propane tank and it is still reading in the green zone, after (I'm guessing),5 to 6 hrs. of cooking time (possibly still close to 2/3's full) ...only to give an idea of fuel consumption. I am always concerned with buyer's remorse after an on line purchase, But None here.

This item has never worked well since I got it. The slightest breeze, breath, wind blows out the flame. Cannot use it outside for outdoor events. Can't really use it in enclosed garage either without constant supervision---again, flame does not stay lit. Would not recommend. Kept it to use the stand for other purposes, currently holding metal targets on shooting range. Yes, I did contact Customer service and they told me to re-set the regulator, did that, did not correct the problem.

This is a good cooker, don't get me wrong. Set it up, protect it, and cook fast and hot... it's the one for you! But I use it occasionally for lots of different BTU cooking, and it fails on two counts. It doesn't run at low heat well (keeps flaiming out), and the burner nozzles break very very very very easily (they are the wimpiest little turds you can imagine and they are joining huge rugged items). They break all the time and King K doesn't sell them individually for the $1.50 they should cost... instead you have to buy the whole burner for $22++, that's been a maintenance cost to me of $44/year. I won't use it again unless I can find a better source for these little diamonds. If you do buy this item for it's horsepower and strength for large pots (admitted), don't buy a soft-shell case and expect it to arrive intact.

I just finish cooking my lunch, which started 1 hour ago.I will give a 3/5, see my reasons:1. Good: Good and easy assemble (real easy)2. Good: light weight, but steady, it can bear some weight (amazing)3. Good: early time arrival4. fair: the wind block doesn't function that much(hard to use it on a low wind day) & a little bit low on height (im 5'11)5. Poor: the fire(burner part, one ring) is way smaller than expected , which makes me 1 hour to cook 3 entrees.I have to buy a bigger burner to fit in and I hope I can find it, or this product might be a waste for me.

I love this cooker! I hate big messes in my kitchen and I hate grease everywhere in my kitchen. I also love to cook outdoors. This cooker has fulfilled all these things for me. I have cooked deer steak, soup, vegetables and chili on it and it has worked great. I as afraid I might have trouble getting used to the cooking temps but I have had no problems at all. Now I can grill and cook veggies or side dishes and not have to run back and forth to check on things.

One of the knob that connect to burner broke when we were assembling it.
