These worked really well for the drums my friend was playing in a musical we were playing for.

Everything alost fit. One of the pads was too small for the drums and one of the symbols were also too small. The others fit very well

My husband is more of a recreational drummer, so these are just fine, according to him: "They all feel like good quality and are working just fine to help with volume control. The cymbal one mutes a bit too much and changes the sound more than I'd like." For a non-pro drummer, this is a good price for some basics, but might not be ideal for every drum in every situation.

Much like the other reviews the small on is for a smaller tom but they do fit. The only thing is they slip off even when i have a slight tilt. so I ended up tieing themat to the top. It be nice to have one more cymbal dampener to fit inside the highhat

All of the dampers work well to make drumming quiet, but the hi-hats are still rather loud. The cymbal pads will remove all cymbal wash and will play quietly when striking the pad, if you slip up and strike the cymbal itself it’s still quieter than normal. The pads do absorb the impact making the rebound much less than regular playing.Similarly, Toms have much less rebound, but they play quieter and barely exhibit resonance. For the snare drum, the snare holder seems like a bit of a waste, I just use my throw-off to silence my snares. The kick pad is neat, but the adhesive makes it more permanent than the pads. Honestly, I prefer to place a backpack against the resonant head to muffle/mute my kick than have strips of velcro on my batter head.Overall the foam material works great and the sizing of the pads fit my Tama kit exactly. I do have my toms angled steeply, so when hitting harder the pads can fall off, but on flatter drums, they do not budge. Pads are quick to remove and easy to place making it ideal for me since I don’t have an interest in using low-volume cymbals. I will say the kick pad is the weakest part of this set and a different design would have been better. Some extras are included: a drum key, 2 cymbal felts, a cymbal sleeve, and a plastic wing nut for cymbals. Sticks too but they aren’t good.Do I recommend these pads? If you can live with the kick drum dampener velcro strips and the dead feel of the pads this will do the job. I find that practicing on the pads improves my drumming in the long term as it forces me to improve my technique since I have no rebound to serve as a crutch for faster rudiments.
