This product was fabulous. The easy installation allowed me to product my windshield during the snow storm in New Orleans. It was well worth the money.

The Kingfun windshield cover in size medium fits our 2020 Hyundai Sonata perfectly and worked great both with the flaps in the widows and not. The first smaller snowstorm that we used it, we neglected to put them in and it still stayed in place and was able to keep the windshield clean and it truly made it so much easier to be off and on our way the next morning. A couple days later we had a HUGE snow storm, of epic proportions, and we remembered to put the flaps in the doors and after a couple days of non stop pounding we were still able to have a perfectly clean windshield without even any ice freezing underneath. Our other vehicle sitting right beside it had frozen areas of ice on the windshield under the snow that had to be scraped and worked on, so this cover made it so great to just pull it off and go. That being said, one of the flaps pulled loose due to being frozen and stiff, so if it's super cold outside be aware that it will make the material this is made of to be a lot less flexible. Overall if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow this will make your life a lot easier - four stars âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

See the pictures of how the windshield cover is packaged. There are no included side mirror covers.The windshield cover doesn't come with any instructions, but putting it on a vehicle is pretty straightforward and especially if someone used one of these before. I never used one of these before, so after I took the windshield cover out of the included storage case, I unfolded it and noticed that there is a matte side and a semi shiny smoother side. On the smoother side, there is the tag where the product is made and the company name, so my assumption was correct that I was about to put the windshield cover on the right way.I started with the driver side and after tossing the windshield cover across my windshield as far as I could I opened the driver side door and then I attached the two elastic straps to the mirror (one strap is slightly shorter than the other which I assume is for different size mirrors) then I adjusted the windshield cover by pulling up towards the roof of my vehicle and I tucked the flap of the windshield cover inside my vehicle and closed the door. The flap has a round piece inside, which is soft, and it adds a little weight to keep the flap inside while closing the door.Next, I went to the passenger side and did the exact same things I did to the driver side. I took a look from the front of the vehicle and made final adjustments by opening the door and pulling one side of the windshield cover over to get it tighter to the windshield then I pulled up a little bit more and while keeping my hand on the windshield cover and out of the way where the door closes I closed the door. See the picture after I put the windshield cover on.The next morning, everything was iced over except for my windshield. The windshield cover was frozen and the straps were frozen to my mirrors and after a little pulling of the straps and lifting and rolling the windshield cover to one side and down I was able to get it off and since it was mostly frozen I put it in the garage to thaw.In conclusion, this windshield cover works as intended. It comes with a nice storage case and is easy to install once the user figures out what side goes against the windshield (if unsure look for the brand tag which is on the side that goes against the windshield and is also on the passenger side of the cover). I will continue to use this, but I do need to add side mirror cover as I wish this windshield cover came with them.

This arrive literally just in time for the snow yesterday and I was so excited to put it on! I checked it this morning after about 4 inches of snow with a bit of ice under it, and it definitely protected the windshield from both snow sliding in and ice forming! Buuuut I pulled the elastic where I’d put it around the side view mirror so that I could take the whole thing off and the elastic broke off at one end :(. I’m not gonna return it coz it’ll still work fine, but, one star off.

This is a very well made windshield cover. It is rather easy to install if you learn the secret. :-) Once installed it is very good at protecting the windshield even in high winds.In order to install it on larger vehicles, open your car doors before you fit the loops over the mirror. Then, insert the little flaps inside the doors, and close the door. Don't forget to open the doors when you need to remove the shield.I think this is a great cover and it comes with a nice, convenient storage bag.

I got the Extra Large as a guess for my Nissan Frontier. The height is perfect but it is just a bit too wide. In order to be pulled tight, the seams of the ‘ears’ end up being closed in the doors. Not an issue on this truck since the weatherstrip is back a bit from the door skin so that the seam doesn’t interfere with the seal. On this truck, however, the seal is not real tight in that area of the door and as a result, wind can pull the top of the cover loose. It won’t come completely out of the door because there is a bulge built into the ears to prevent it from pulling completely out. The elastic bands hold tight and keep the lower part in place. If the cover was heavier and stiffer, the wind might not affect it, but then it would be bulkier to store. As is, it goes fairly easily back into its storage bag and slides neatly under my passenger seat. The cover has one smooth side to shed ice and snow and a woven textured side to go against the vehicle. Being some type of plastic, I was concerned about it becoming brittle in the cold but it has remained flexible. I still just toss it into the truck and allow it to dry before folding it up.If wind pulls this loose, of course some snow gets under it. Still WAY better than scraping ice. The best part is that there is a flap on the bottom that covers the wipers, even if they retract into the cowl. No more wipers frozen to the window or caked in ice so they don’t wipe consistently. This is a real time saver for those ice mornings.
