This is the nicest-looking pole I’ve ever had in my yard! As a longtime Kingsyard customer, they didn’t disappoint—this pole is sturdy, elegant, and well-designed overall.**Bird Safety: I’m very cautious about potential hazards for birds, especially after a juvenile cardinal once got caught his leg caught in a teeny gap between the arms on a V-shaped pole (I rescued him and he’s fine, but I never forgot). So, I carefully inspected this one before setting it up. Most of the welded areas have enough of a gap for a bird to escape if needed. However, there is a small spot in the decorative diamond where a bird could slip and get stuck. It’s an almost inaccessible space, but if a bird landed just right... boom, potential danger. To be safe, I blocked that area off with a carefully positioned piece of tape.PROS:--Assembly took just 10 minutes: screw the 4 poles together, attach the prongs with a thumbscrew, then use two more thumbscrews to secure the arms. Within 30 minutes of installing it, 4 bluebirds were perched on it!--The metal is solid - I tried to bend one of the poles, and it wouldn’t budge.--The thumbscrews have a plastic top and fully meet the metal, which I appreciate for bird safety.--Plenty of clearance! I hung two Kingsyard feeders with room to spare, so planters should work well too.CONS:--One minor downside is that since the poles screw together, water could get trapped in the gaps and potentially lead to rust over time.--If you plan to hang anything heavy, I’d recommend removing one of the pole sections to shorten the height.Overall, this is an excellent addition to any yard—sturdy, beautiful, and bird-friendly! Highly recommend.

I have a couple other shepherds hooks, but my husband uses them to feed all the birds in the neighborhood. So when I. Saw these particular hooks, I knew they were exactly what I was looking for. They are super heavy duty believe me when I say the box was very heavy easy to assemble and they have the four steaks on the bottom, which is much better than the ones that only have two. I love the scroll work on the top of them. It’s just makes them so much prettier looking when you hang plants on them. And something I’ve never seen before is that you had a choice of height depending on your needs and what you’re going to be hanging off of them, I chose the 60 inch because I will only be hanging some potted plants and a couple of decorative solar items on them. The price point is excellent. I’ve seen and purchased others at a much higher price to get the same quality as these. I also like the fact that you can buy just one or a set of two, which is a nice alternative. I absolutely recommend the shepherds hooks hopefully by summer. I will take some pictures of them in the yard with the flowers hanging.

These shepherd’s hooks really add a nice decorative touch to your outdoor space. Assembly was very easy, basically just screwing the threaded poles together to get the height you want. I ordered the 92†version. It came with four 16†sections for the pole, but I’m only using three of them for now. I currently have it in a large flower pot because I haven’t decided on a permanent location for it. When I do, I’ll remove it from the pot and add the fourth section.The 92†version will supposedly hold up to 15 pounds of weight. I suspect it would, especially if the weight is evenly distributed between the two hooks. In my current setup, I have a bird feeder on one side and a very lightweight solar lantern on the other. A better arrangement would be either having two equal-sized feeders or two equal-sized lanterns, but it’s working just fine for now.These things are very reasonably priced, especially if you order the 2-pack. I only ordered one, a decision I regret now that I’ve seen how nice they are.

This set of two black shepherd's hook each have 2 hanging arms and therefore can hold two planters or windchimes or solar lanterns or animal houses. The pole is made of somewhat heavy steel rods. Putting this together was easy.There was only one direction I was confused by. One step one you are supposed to put set screws into the base piece and the rotating second piece. There were no holes to screw the set screws into on the base piece, only holes in the rotating piece. It would have made more sense for the factor yo line these holes up at 90 degree angles and the customer to just affix the screws.The stand is quite tall once you place it into the ground. The hooks are somewhat thick and very curvy. The bottom spikes that go into the ground are just about right for the how tall this hook is. There are also four other smaller curved hooks that you can place a smaller item over. They are versatile.

I have a bird feeder in the back yard and I enjoy looking at the birds while they enjoy their easy to come food. A win-win situation for me and the birds.I wanted to have the same experience in the front yard, but having the ground sloping down it was a bit more of a challenge to place my other bird feeders there. These shepherd hooks gave me the hope that I can hang my bird feeders at a height convenient for me to load the food for the birds, and prevent squirrels from taking it all. The height turned out to be perfect one. I can get to them from the balcony, and their gorgeous design makes the bird feeder a pleasure to see from the street. Win-win-win situation, for me, the birds, and the neighbors walking in front of our house.The execution of the rod pieces, the threads, the paint, are all done well. I hope that the set screw and the screws holding the top won’t rust. Super easy to assemble, and you can tailor the height.
