The solenoid arrived quick. I installed it on a John Deere 185 and it worked great. Hopefully it works for more than 2 seasons.

Verified that my original solenoid was bad by cutting off the plunger. Installed this and tractor would not start. Bench tested with 9V battery and solenoid would not operate. Verified 12V at solenoid wire. Tested by connecting body to ground and would not operate. Returned.

I bought one and it failed after two uses. The replacement failed after one use. Stick to factory Kawasaki parts. The last original one lasted 20 years.
