The lid didn't go on. It was like it was the wrong size for the lid and the container. I sent it back.

I was hoping for something a little sturdier, stronger and not thin plastic. I am not sure how airtight this will actually be since the lid just barely fit and could just pop off if you move it at all. It is okay for flour, sugar or rice. I put it in my pantry so I don't have to move it around or lift it with flour in it. It does hold quite a bit though. I ended up using it for oatmeal.

I love this container over just having the bag sitting out where he can get to it. It's durably well-made and has a top that shuts securely so my pup can't get into it. It's got a slot at top for a dessicant for moisture control as well but the dessicant is not included. Not even one, which I think since they're so cheap, at least one should've been included.It's got a nice clear vertical bar in the middle of the front so you can easily see how much is left in the unit as well. Very nice storage container and perfect for a large bag of dog food!

We go through a lot of rice, so this giant container is perfect for that. The lid works smoothly and snaps shut firmly. The upper section, with the lid, feels really premium and sturdy. The lower part of the container is a thinner plastic and I had to sort of squish it to get the lid to snap on once the container was full of rice. Once the lid is on, it feels sturdy, but I'm not confident of the long term resilience.

My animals are awful when it comes to messing with bags. Especially the food bags that they just love to tear through to get to it. This container holds a good amount of pet food and seals well. Very happy with this as it is keeping the animals out and gives me a neater appearance of my cabinet. Lid is on tight, took a bit of effort to get it on so it is not coming off. The top stays closed until I press the button so could not be happier. I will be getting a few more for other uses.
