This digital timer is a 5/5 for me! Though smaller than expected (5 inches), its compact size is perfect for classroom use. The color switch option, including a fun rainbow mode, excites my elementary students. It offers both countdown and stopwatch functions, and setting it up takes seconds.I love the three volume settings (vibration, regular, and loud), and its magnetic backing makes it easy to attach to my whiteboard or door. You can also hang it with the foldable hook or use the built-in stand. Very bright and easy to use, no real difference in brightness levels. My only real problem is that the timer screen blacks out all the time.Edit***The seller definitely reads reviews, they acknowledged the issue and offered helpful options to address it. Unfortunately, the problem persisted but they did send me a refund. Great customer service.

Wow, the designers of this item really put a lot of thought into creating this perfect micro timer.I love the following features:*Times up or down*Has various volume control and can be entirely muted*Display numbers are disproportionately large for the size of the unit; highly readable display*Can be propped up on a flat surface with a pop-out stand; stuck on a steel surface with built-in magnets; or hung from a built-in pop-out eye-hook*Micro size can fit in a vest pocket*Beautiful white casingThe two features that I would like to see on this item are:*A small hole through which a lanyard could be threaded to make a wrist strap or a silicone slip-on cover with lanyard.*Green display or an ability to change the color of the display (green, red, blue, orange. etc.)Excellent item! There is only one change that I would make to this product. When I turn it off, it does not retain the time, so I must reprogram it each time. Other than that comment, I like the timer very much.

A countdown timer only has to do two follow the things, countdown to zero and let you know when it's done. Whoever designed this timer set the operation to fail in this regard by adding too many "features". If you do a lot of cooking and baking, you will often messy hands, so a timer separate from your smartphone is a wise idea, even though the smartphone timer is far superior. Big gripes are: It counts down to zero and never stops, it just starts counting up. You can't look up and see a row of zeros to confirm the count is finished. Totally dumb idea. Then, the "beep" is high-pitched and wimpy. Let's face it, as one ages, the higher pitches become harder to hear. High frequencies are more directional. If you are out of the beam, it's too bad. How about the flash function? Seemed like a good idea, BUT, the flash pulses as the same speed as the flashing display during countdown. You don't know that it is the notification flash until you closely inspect which way the timer is counting. I'd send it back, but this seems to be the way of most large display timers. The "designers" never thought this one through from the stand point of actual convenience and practicality of use. BTW, my smartphone timer can be heard over 20ft away in another room, even with a cloths washer running. The large display was the big selling point. Now that I'm using it, that's about all I can say to the positive. If I see something that does what it is supposed to do. I'll toss this over blown piece of fluff.

I got this for my classroom and it works great. I like tue color options and that is shows the time and date. Only issue is my kids like to remind me of the time. Lol

I bought 2 of these - 1 for home and 1 for work. The second one does not charge at all :( the other one i love though! Bummed cuz I really needed both

Love this, use it on my desk when presenting in meetings and the meeting timer clock is so small. I use this instead right in front of me directly under my monitor. Nice large, bright numbers easy to see through my entire presentation.
