This small over-the-cabinet-door towel holder is a simple addition to your kitchen or bathroom that adds a little extra utility. I had a small towel hanging through the handle on a cabinet door next to the kitchen sink, since the one hanging on the handle of the stove is a few steps away so this allowed me to dry my hands without dripping water over the kitchen floor. This little towel bar has made it not only look a little nicer, but also added some hooks to the inside of the cabinet door, increasing the storage of that cabinet slightly. The bar comes fully assembled so it's ready to go on the cabinet door immediately out of the box. The white is nice and bright, with no smudges or dimples on mine. The bar comes with a small felt pad that has four oval cut-outs that can be used to cushion it against the cabinet door, but does not have the "anti-scratch with rubber mat" shown in some product images. There are also no written instructions for any idea of how best to put the felt pads, which may seem silly but I just want to point it out. Overall, a nice little addition to our kitchen.

This HOISIMDY over-the-cabinet-door towel holder fits my bathroom cabinet door perfectly. It’s a great place to hang a small hand towel or fingertip towel if you have no space for a wall-mounted or free-standing towel rack. As an added bonus, it has 4 hooks on the opposite side, so you can hang some things inside your cabinet to get them out of the way.The white metal rack comes with pads that you can use as spacers if you’re worried about the rack scratching or banging against your cabinet door. I didn’t find it necessary to use with mine. The metal is thin enough to not affect the door’s closure. This rack comes fully assembled so all you have to do is get it out of the box and put it over the door, yay!

This rack/hook combo is great in theory, but the cabinet door has to be less than1 inch wide a5 the top for it to fit over it. If you have trim on your cabinet faces (as I do), this isn’t the product for you. It also won’t work with cabinets that don’t have trim but close flush into the cabinet frame—the door won’t close with it on. The only possible uses I’ve found for it is using on my cheapo assembly required MDF 2 door small “pantry” I bought from a box store, over the top of my glass shower door, or hanging horizontally on some open shelving so the hooks can be used underneath. Really disappointing.

So, good news, bad news on this HOISIMDY Kitchen Cabinet Towel rack. The good news is that is looks nice, is decently made and has the multi-function of hooks on the reverse side, which is super nice. Its best feature is how long the two sides extend however. If you look at the other companys' versions, they have a super short lip that hangs over the inside. The problem with that is that it keeps coming up and off the door when you take the towel off the rack. This one does not, which is awesome. The bads news is that it is metal, wider than needed and not well padded. The one small strip of felt they provide is not sufficient to protect the length of the bars on both sides nor to keep it tight to the door. I am going to try to pad it myself to stop it from moving around and potentially scratching the wood and will update this review if not successful.

This item is a good idea (I especially love that you have hooks on one side and a bar on the other so double duty/double useful) and it looks nice enough-especially if you have white cabinets or something that goes well with white. Unfortunately, many of my cabinet doors will not close flush with this installed. On some it would not work no matter if the bar was inside the cabinet or out, on another it would work only if the bar was on the exterior. I looked to see what was going on--in my cabinet there is a wood bar that the top of the the door shuts against (it actually stops the door) and I was thinking this item is coming between the door and that wood bar so it doesn't close flush--then I found a sink base in my basement that does not have this wood bar--so I thought great it will work but the door would not close flush anyway. I did find a laundry cabinet that I could use this on and the doors did close properly. So it is a hit or miss item whether your doors will close flush--now if you are not fancy and don't care if your door sticks out a drop then this would more easily work for you. If you do care, its up to you if you want to take a chance (I would check the return policy). For the island sink base I wanted this for which has no good place to hang a hand towel--I found a good simple solution--I bought a towel with a loop (Target has good ones) and just hung it over the door knob. The problem is now solved.

I'm an apartment dweller. The towel rack is long enough to hold two towels but there's no room for a washcloth. I was able to put this on the cabinet immediately under the sink. That makes the washcloth very conventient to grab or to hang up after I have used it. The white matches the woodwork so it's not obtrusive. I also have one in the kitchen by the kitchen sink which is in an island. I hand a dish cloth there so I can easily access it after I turn off the sink. I have hardware that hangs on the insides of the cabinets but none of them are white and the hooks are visible and to be honest, very ugly. I love that these match the cabinets. If I can find longer ones like these that I could use inside the cabinets, I'd purchase those, too. Excellent item!

This towel bar fits perfectly into my kitchen. We didn't have a good place to hang a towel, and this holder is a great solution. Effortless to "install" (just put it over the cabinet door), and my cabinet closes normally with it on. It's good quality, made of solid metal. The hooks on the other side are useful for hanging my dishwashing gloves.
