Got my kiddos some kites for Christmas and figured these would be great to give alongside the kites themselves. I haven't flown any kites since I was a child, so I am just a complete beginner, but these seem very high quality and durable. I like the extra length- the kids thought their kites almost touched "outer space" 🤠Really fun and easy to use. The wrist straps were helpful, just had to wrap it around twice so it would stay if they accidentally let go.Excellent value at less than $4 per reel.

Kite string has come a long way from the yarn type. I was able to test it out with my new kite and the high winds that pummeled through CA. I found it to be high in strength, and the durability is top-notch! 324 feet is plenty of length for me to use at my local park, and the spool and handle made it easy to control and maneuver the kite while flying.Impressed by its quality and value.

I needed something like this so I wouldn't have to worry about chasing down runaway kite spools when my young fliers lose grip. This gets me most of the way there. For my kids, it would be pretty much useless feeding their arms through the strap loops like shown in the product video. If they drop the handle, the strap would easily follow. So instead, I pull the strap through the loop to make a self-tightening loop to go around their wrist (as shown in my pic). In this arrangement, a longer cord would have been better, but that should be easy for me to switch out. Otherwise, the handle is very sturdy. The stitching on the strap looks good. And it comes with a nice swivel and clip. The only disappointment is that there is no mention of the rated strength of the included kite string. Otherwise, happy with this find.

This is a set of three, good quality hand held string reels. I've found the SGftre brand to be above average quality for imported kites, and they tend to go an extra step with their products. These are the same string reels included with their kites but with an added wrist strap. It is nice touch. All include a swivel clip for quick attachment to your kite. I can easily recommend these string reels.

This is a great value for three reels of kite string. They are each long (over 300 feet), a highly visible bright yellow and very strong. They even come with a metal hook that is easy to connect and remove from a kite.The string is wrapped around a comfortable handle with a wrist strap that makes it easy to unspool and rollup the string.While it's marketed as kite string it can also be used outside and in the garden. I'll be using some to attach holiday lights to my railings and can see using it in the Spring to hold tomato plants to their stakes.
