I decided to try this meat tenderizer for making pork belly with crispy skin. The product is very solid in quality. It has a safety lock - which most of these products didn't come with when I was browsing through amazon. The sharp needles are always contained within the whole unit. I just use it, rinse off, then put it in the dishwasher. Very easy to upkeep. However, if you are someone who has some hand issues such as advanced arthritis, this item may be a challenge (all this type may be) because the unit is very stiff, requires a sufficient grip, and push down hard onto the meat. I'm not sure if it is just because it's a new unit or it will remain as such, but even if it is a unit, you'd need to use it a lot to make it easier - which may not be possible.

Performs well to tenderize eye of round steak, which is pretty tough. Also used it to tenderize cube steak stew meat. The blades are sharp and the item is well made and durable. The safety lock works works just fine. You can throw it in the dishwasher to easily clean and disinfect it.

A store near us sells sirloin steak for $2.99 per serving, it tastes great, but is too tough for my spouse. I watched a YouTube video titled, "Can This Tool Make Cheap Meat Tender?" I decided to give this a try. It works great at tenderizing these rather tough steaks. I also use it with Adolph's meat tenderizer.

I like it, well made and sharp, but the meat gets stuck and you have to pull the whole thing out and stretch the meat in the process. I think it would do this less on thinner cuts of meat.

Once pushed down to meat, it gets stuck and very hard to separated from steaks.Maybe blades need to be thicker ?

This is well made and sturdy. I like the lock on it for obvious safety reasons. This should hold up to a lot of meat tenderizer
