When I saw these Kitty City raised food bowls, I did something I NEVER do - I ordered TWO sets of something without trying it first. They just have a look about them that says: well-designed, well-made - and healthier for your cat. When I received them, I was actually shocked! They EXCEEDED my expectations! They hold a can of Friskies perfectly, and there is almost no mess. But here’s the part that astounded me: it says they’re dishwasher-safe, but I’m the dishwasher in my house, so after my cat’s first meal I did the routine thing - I put the bowl in the sink to soak before washing, and when I came back 20 minutes later I picked up the bowl and poured out the water - and virtually EVERY bit of food rinsed out! The one or two little specks that were left LIFTED RIGHT OFF the surface when I touched them with my fingertip. I gave it a final rinse with hot water - no soap; no scrubbing - and there I was, holding a clean bowl.I’m not kidding you; it IS that easy. (Yeah, every once in a while I throw in a little detergent to knock off any stray microbes that might have wandered in, but I really don’t think it’s necessary.)Just put some hot water in the bowl, give it 15 minutes, then a final rinse under running water and maybe a light swipe with a paper towel. That’s it. Really. Truly. Clean.Now what I want is a bowl for ME that I don’t have to wash.....(maybe I could just borrow hers for a light snack - a little chicken salad maybe? Or some deviled ham on toast points?) Do you think that - ᴍᴀʏʙᴇ - she might let me share her bowl?? 😗 👀All kidding aside, I would give these Kitty City bowls SIX stars if I could. Maybe the material they’re made of ISN’T revolutionary; maybe the technology has been out there for years and I just haven’t noticed. (I don’t get around much.) But that’s beside the point. These bowls are beautiful, to the eye and to the touch. And they make eating a healthier experience for your cat. So look at them again - and if you love 💕 your cat, buy a set. Buy two. That’s what I did - and I only have one cat. But I noticed today that they have a set in pastels now, and they’re gorgeous..... so I’m gonna buy a set. Do I really need six bowls for my one cat?....Maybe not....but maybe I can use a couple of them to display art objects. Maybe I can display a couple of them AS art objects....I would add a picture if I could, but my lap seems to be inhabited at the moment, and that imposes certain limits....maybe I can add one later. I didn’t know I would be revisiting this site today, but I’m glad I finally got back here. I bought my Kitty City bowls in January, about ten months ago, and I knew in the first week that I had to come back here and write a review for one of the BEST PRODUCTS I’ve ever seen. Of any kind. I’m sorry I took so long to write this. But I’m glad I’m here now, so that I can wholeheartedly, without reservations, recommend to you a product that I believe to be perfect in what it strives to do. I cannot think of any aspect that needs improvement.You might think that spending an hour to write a review about the bowl that I use to feed my cat is a somewhat trivial way to spend my time. I would not agree. In these days of cost-cutting mass-produced ecology-destroying poorly-made disposable trash, we all have a duty to stand up and shout when we find a product - ANY product - that does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and is also aesthetically pleasing.I’m hoping that Amazon won’t yank this review. They had to pull a couple of mine in the last four years when I wandered off the beaten path, offering my opinions in areas that didn’t strictly conform to product review, and I can understand that. I do tend to wax enthusiastic when I find a product that is so far above what is usually considered “good enough “. Even if Amazon decides that I goofed AGAIN and pulls this review, I will not regret writing it - maybe the editor who yanks it has a cat or two.....Library Cat12/6/19

These cat bowls are perfect for my cats. I was getting cat bowls and tried some regular bowls, but they kept making a mess of the food. These are just the right height for them to eat comfortably, and the perfect size and design. It is helping them to not make as much of a mess, so I assume it's helping them to eat more easily. They are easy to clean too. I will be buying these again if I ever need to replace!

These cat bowls are perfect! They are raised to the perfect height and they are very sleek and look great. They are sturdy and have had no issues with them functionally. No assembly required and my cat loves to eat and drink out of them. It allows her to eat in a more healthy position!

These bowls were almost perfect. They do help elevate my problem cat’s meals so hopefully will cut down on his issues. The other cat tends to shove food over the side so the elevated side does help with that.The bowls are easy to clean and should hold up well. If they had slip resistance applied to the bottom or were a little heavier they would be perfect. To avoid having the bowls slide around on the tile, I cut up a little bit of drawer liner to use as an anti-skid. It’s not the best solution but it was on hand.

Really easy to clean and lightweight, they do slide around on hardwood floors but it’s easily fixable if you have a mat or added some grip to the bottom. My cat loves these, I use one for dry food and one for wet food and they have yet to stain or absorb any smell! If your cat has whisker fatigue these still might be a little deep, but definitely helped my baby a lot with his!

These are perfect! I love that they are elevated and have a low lip, easy for my cats to eat and make for an easy clean up!

My two picky cats liked the dishes the same day that we started using them. I put water in one and dry food in the other and both were used. YAY. I like that they were raised for health of cat. I may get one more just for water because this seems a little small for water, but great for dry food as they have a cat food smorgasbord of flavors to choose from and small dishes help. I dropped one and the china bits went everywhere.

The bowl was good and worked for awhile, especially for food. Also very easy to clean. If you have a cat that likes to knock stuff over though, I might not recommend it. it is easily pushed over once my cat swipes at it so it ended up being less functional and more messy. I had to invest in a more stable water bowl unfortunately to make sure he has water throughout the day.

Ordered these bowls after hunting for a matching set of the raised and angled cat bowls. These were the best price for the look, though they aren’t on an angle as I had been looking for originally. These are great dishes though! They’re a hard plastic but very light and seem durable and easy to wash. They look smaller in person than in the photos, but my cats are both very large (part ragdoll). The bowls are suitable for kibble or wet food but probably too shallow or maybe too spilly for water (unless you have a super neat cat). They are wide enough to clear the whiskers and seem to be at a good height for their heads while they eat. The dish is nice because it’s pretty shallow and wide so the food doesn’t pool at the bottom or slide around the sides much. My cats were very confused about the new dishes at first but got into them once I added a treat on top of the kibble. Great quality for the price, would highly recommend!

Tanto los colores, la altura, el diseño.. Todo!!!Son exacto lo que necesitaba!Los gatos los adoran.. No los tiran, no los mueven.. Y les quedan perfectos para comer.Lavarlos no toma ni 1 min. de lo fácil que es..Y se pueden usar tanto de un lado como de otro.En lo personal yo uso los 2 para comida así que no puedo opinar en cuanto a líquidos.Pero aunque pareciera que les "cabe poco" en realidad su capacidad es de incluso un poco más de lo que comen mis gatos por comida.Les cabe una ración de comida + 1/2 sobre de comida mojada sin derramarse, caerse ni estar al borde.Son una opción perfecta si se quieren tener en un lugar alto (no se rompen fácilmente) y los colores son muy bonitos!

I love these bowls, they’re perfect for both my cats in terms of size. Great for wet food, not for water as they’re shallow. Good quality as its lightweight and easy to clean. And definitely worth the money!
