I like the simplicity of the design. I was specifically looking for a dish with a glass dome, one that would look nice no matter where I put it, and would do what I needed it to do.My butter does not stick to the base. It does slide around a little bit when I cut into it but it's not significant.I leave it on the counter, so I can't speak to how it works in the fridge.I added silicone buttons to the base to keep it from sliding around on the counter.The first one I received had a big chunk out of the base when I opened it. I submitted it for a return and the next day I had a replacement that was in perfect shape.

I was looking for a nice butter dish that wasn't plastic and I love how this looks. It isn't too big, fits the butter nicely. Stores well in the fridge. I have washed it every time we run out of butter and it still looks amazing.

Ich war schon länger auf der Suche nach einer neuen Butterdose, die weder Plastik noch Glas ist. Ich habe mich für diese entschieden, weil mir Bambus sehr gut gefällt. Den Glasdeckel kann ich einfach in die Spülmaschine tun und den Bambusboden von Hand waschen. Dieser ist sehr gut verarbeitet und das Holz ist sehr glatt, es macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck.

high quality, great item. HOWEVER, note it is 7.25" long, NOT 7.0" like stated in the description. for me this is an important difference as it meant it just barely doesn't fit in the compartment in my fridge.
