Quick shipment. I like that it's made in Thailand, designed specifically for papaya shaving/julienning. Works easily. Was able to shred one large papaya as shown in my photo in no time. As some reviews noted, it is sharp and will clog intermittently but that is to be expected esp as you get to the end of the papaya and it's easy to clear. The other complaint about the handle being small or best for people with small hands. I am an Asian female (5'3", 130 lbs) with small, delicate hands so I can't complain. However, this Kiwi peeler is about the same size as a basic Oxo vegetable peeler. If you don't want a big gadget or spend more money on another kitchen tool, and if the only reason you want this is to make papaya salad, then this fits the bill!

I peeled a bit of skin off an orange and it did a great job. I can use it to make grated orange peel a lot easier than using a regular peeler and slicing them lengthwise and across. The peeler is very sturdy and I am very happy with it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because it took so long to get here. The green papaya I wanted it for has long since rotted away. Maybe it's not fair to deduct a star for transportation - the peeler is great. It came all the way from Thailand. I'm impressed and I'm happy to have it. If you are not in a hurry to receive this peeler, go ahead and order it. It had the best reviews of all the similar kinds of peeler when I bought it. It seems really rugged and cuts nicely.

Easy to use, great rippling effect on the fruit or vegetables. Great for adding shredded carrots or apples to a salad. Drag across a stick of butter to quicken the softening process. The handle size is appropriate. Kids might like the look of the produce it is used on, which could encouraging eating more fruits or vegetables.

This was a great addition to the kitchen. We love using this for "shredding" certain vegetables instead of using a box grater. Works amazing to make shredded carrots and cucumbers! Quicker and much easier to clean than a grater!!

Doesn't make julienne slices. They don't accept returns. If you buy it better be happy slicing everything after you use this tool. Probably will be great for waffle potato chips but that's the only use I can think of for it.

Cerca de dois anos atrás eu assisti um vÃdeo de arroz frito tailandês, e para enfeitar o prato, usaram pepinos iguais os que reproduzi na foto.Durante esse tempo, eu comprei vários descascadores para tentar reproduzir o mesmo corte e nenhum era tão eficiente quanto esse da marca Kiwi.Finalmente consegui descobrir que o descascador era de uma marca tailandesa e que a Amazon vendia aqui no Brasil.Eu amei e estou muito satisfeita, ele é muito efetivo e os legumes ficam lindos 💚🥒

Der Klassiker ist nicht aus der Küche wegzudenken.Wer den richtigen Durchmesser für den richtigen Garpunkt sucht, ist hier richtig.Auch im rohen Zustand sind hier die Streifen genau richtig.Die Länge kann hierbei jederzeit selbst entschieden werden.
