I recently purchased a pair of vintage Klipsch Heresy I speakers that some really old school connection terminals. I really like to connect my speakers using the lazy man's banana plugs on my speaker wire. This product allows me to easily attach the spade plugs to the Heresy terminals, and the other end has the banana plug connectors to plug into my integrated amp. The quality is top shelf and the product can be ordered in different lengths. This is an excellent product that is worth the listed price.

Nice, good quality speaker cables with spade lugs on one end, banana plugs on the other. Woven cable covering looks professional and tidy. Totally fair price for upgraded quality speaker wires. No mysterious audiophile fallderall, just good cables.

They're tightly terminated. I think these are what passes as 14 gauge wire in China. These cables came better protected from damage than did my blue jeans cable.I would recommend these cables for general music use. However, persons seeking more fidelity may want to research prior to purchase. They tend to be a tad bit bright with little break in. Seems a decent match with smooth and laidback audio equipment or TV 2.0 configurations.

If Paul Bunyan made amplifiers these cables would be perfect for it, but if you don't have a Paul Bunyan signature amplifier, you will likely find the forked spade terminals on the end to be several times larger than will fit the terminal strip on your amplifier.Spade terminals are specified by the stud size and wire gauge. It would have been helpful had the maker specified the stud size of the spade terminals.Since the cables were useless to me as received, I cut off the terminals with the intent of crimping usable spade terminals onto the cables. Imagine my surprise when the actual wire gauge was considerably smaller than appeared through the transparent insulation. The insulation apparently acts like a magnifying glass making the conductor look far larger in diameter than it really is. I don't know what the actual gauge is, but terminals intended for 22 to 18 gauge wire fit over the conductor just fine.Another problem is that the insulation on the cables is so thick, the plastic sleeve on the insulated terminals I first bought would not fit over the insulation, so I ended up ordering a variety of uninsulated terminals to make sure one would be correct for stud size and wire gauge. I actually ended up paying more for all the terminals I purchased than the cables themselves. Of the different terminals I purchased, 3M part number MU18-6FLK (18-22 AWG, #6 stud) worked best for me.Regarding the picture, the terminal on the left is an insulated terminal intended for 18-22 AWG, unknown stud size, but probably #8. The terminal on the right is the original terminal I cut off the cable.

I have a vintage Kenwood KA-3700 amplifier and a pair of DM602 S3 Bowers & Wilkins speakers. In order to connect the amp to the speakers I needed cables with spade connectors on the amp side and Banana plugs on the B&W side. I probably could make the cables myself after purchasing all the components, but after some research I went with 9.84ft cables from KK Cable. The 24k Gold Plated connectors are good looking and functional (and you don't have to pay a "monster" price). I have more speakers to connect and also will likely try to Bi-Wire my Bowers & Wilkins using KK Cable K2Y-4B and my KA-3500 (yes, I have both KA-3700 and KA-3500).

I did not know that banana plugs came in different sizes, these were larger than the ones I replaced and worked out fine
