So, here’s a shocking revelation: apparently, a serger needs its own needles. Who would’ve thought, right? I mean, I thought I could just use any old needles, but no—apparently, that’s a whole different ball game. Now I’m out here trying to figure out why my serger isn’t working, only to realize it’s probably because I didn’t get the right needles. Lesson learned: sergers are picky, and now I have a drawer full of needles that don’t fit. Fun times

I was gifted a vintage Singer serger (14u12 model), which takes the #2053 round-shaft needles (which are no longer being made). These "Type A" serger needles are a perfect fit! I am so excited to be able to continue using my fantastic vintage machine! Thank you from a very pleased and grateful customer! :)

While the needles are the correct ones I ordered, the product description states 5 needles in the package but only 4 are included in package I received. Deceptive sales tactics. Feels like I spent 20% more for what I received.
