It came with an apple peeler! Now I can weigh my giant apples AND peel them. I bought this to fashion a means for weighing my paraplegic mother using a patient lift. I bought carabiners to lash straps together for safety, but it turns out I didn't need as many because the S hooks that came with this scale are made with small openings. My straps were quite secure in the hooks that came with the scale. I've used it once, and it performed well.

My dad grows root vegetables. He's 82 and previously used an old spring scale that predates WWII. I got him this some time back and now the old spring scale has been sent to the museum where it belongs (and by that I mean it's in the garage somewhere). He says this new scale made his job a Hell of a lot easier, and he's not easily impressed, so with that in mind, I have no reservations in recommending this item!

We own a concrete block plant and this works great for weighing our blocks. Works so well for figuring out our max pallet weight.And, for the hunters, it helps there too....LOL

Received 2nd day as predicted. Used once so far to weigh my 3/4 filled green waste bin. Thought I might be getting near the weight limit. Turned out the whole thing only weighed 125lb. So I can stuff a lot more weight in there yet! Limit is around 300lb according to bin moulding. Although I think the waste disposal company's limit is 200lb - gotta check. Anyway, the WH-C100 Mini Scale was simple and effective to use. The weight units, lb, kg, Jin, are changed simply by tapping the "unit" button. The "hold display of weight" feature is toggled by holding the "unit" button fo 2 seconds, and is very handy if by yourself.Also appreciated the 2 sturdy hooks provided. The device is also very compact - fits in the palm of your hand. Looks well made and durable. Time will tell.

We have been using this to weigh farm produce. It gives very reproducible readings and the readouts stabilize quickly. The readings correspond well with a certified balance. Mostly we are weghing in the 5 to 30lb range and in that range it rounds off to around .2lb increments. That is the stated precision and that is very good for our purposes. So far (2 months) it has been completely reliable. Would buy again.

This is a VERY unfair review, so bear with me.This was a very well made unit....easy to read and use. Unfortunately about 15 minutes after receiving it, it fell off the kitchen table onto my linoleum floor and the digital screen shattered causing the display to become unreadable and the unit was essentially useless to me. I never got to use it.Now, me dropping it 30 inches onto the floor was all my fault....but this should be able to handle a drop like that without rendering the unit useless.

Would have liked a couple different hooks to be supplied for various use, but otherwise a 5 star. Seemed to be spot on with other scales I used with it, quite happy with the purchase thus far.

Tried using it for refrigeration charging in a car. The car required 1.35lbs from a 22lb R134a bottle. This required slowly draining the tank down to charge the system. After a full charge the gauge still registered zero, even though it was capable of reading in the negatives. The scale also times out after a few minutes so even if it did get a reading it gets reset before the charge is complete.

What can be said its a scale put the battery in and turn it on hang you stuff read the weight easy to use and is well made
