My first impression of the strap is that it is very well-made. Stitching and seams are straight and beefy. It is a clean functional design. Logo is discreet. I got a 3” black strap. I have used the strap with a 9.5 lb PRS Kestrel bass for about five days. It is extremely comfortable. I saw some of the negative comments regarding the chemical smell and that the strap material stretches. The strap smelled like a new neoprene wet suit when I took it out of the box. The smell quickly dissipated. Not a big deal. There is some stretch in the neoprene material. I did not find it to impact playability . The “give” the strap for me is a plus. I think it makes the strap conform better to my shoulders and body. Regarding comments that the strap air cell nubs are slippery. I found that the strap grips great on my cotton/cotton blend T-shirts and hoodies. The bass I am using is well balanced. No dive. If you have a bass with major neck dive, a suede strap might be a better call. For me the grip is solid. I also saw comments that the leather tabs on the strap are too thick. The beefy straps fit perfectly on my stock PRS buttons. My buttons have a pronounced flare which helps with retention. I am using this strap with standard Fender strap blocks (rubber gasket thingys). It is a tight fit. Which is a good thing. The blocks have not moved. The strap feels very secure.Lastly. Sizing. I got a regular size and run it at 47“ (so almost in shortest position). My strap is true to advertised size. Some of the comments regarding sizing seem unwarranted. Just measure your existing strap size from hole to hole and order accordingly.

On Dec. 30, 20019, I had shoulder surgery (left shoulder) to remove bone spurs, smooth rough edges on the bones, and take 8 mm off my clavicle due to an impingement. All these problems were caused from a lifetime of playing guitar (51 years, 42 years professionally). While rehabbing in January, I researched for guitar straps to find one that would provide substantial cushioning and came upon the KLIQ strap. It seemed a bit bizarre looking, but the reviews are generally good, so I bought one.Today (February 12), my surgeon gave me the o.k. to strap on the guitar and stand while playing. Generally, I play a classical guitar and an acoustic guitar with my group, focusing on Brazilian jazz, blues, and a bunch of other genres. So I strapped on the nylon string with my new KLIQ air nubby strap and played for about 20 minutes, just to give it a try. Although the holes on the new strap are quite stiff and difficult to work with to get the strap on the guitar, I'm chalking that up to the newness of the strap. During my first 20-minute session, the strap (and guitar) felt good, cushioned, and considering that the incision is still a bit tender, my initial impression, then, is good. In fact, after the brief practice, I immediately bought another KLIQ for my other guitar. Of course, it remains to be seen if the strap will work long-term, but it seems well-made and to provide what I need as a post-surgical, guitar-playing, music-loving person who needs comfort when practicing, rehearsing, and sharing music.

I was actually quite surprised. I wasn't sure I'd really like this strap but I tried it for a full gig. My guitar is really heavy. It's a 1980 Gibson Sonex 180 which weighs between 11 and 15 pounds which will wear you down during a 45 minute set.To be honest I don't remember once thinking this is getting heavy. This strap performed better than any strap I have ever used. These is 1 small thing I needed to get used to. The strap gives. Maybe 2-3 inches. It's kind of elastic which is great for load bearing and strain on the shoulder and back but it takes a little getting used to. One some has me sliding onto several notes and I missed a few at first because as I struck the string I could feel the guitar move away from me ever so slightly. Like anything else it's just about getting used to it and the wear and tear it saves me is well worth adjusting to it. For example, on that some I put my foot on a stage monitor and stabilized the guitar. Once I'm used to it I won't have to do that.If you're active when you play and jump around male sure you practice with the strap before going live. Once you know what it does, if you have a heavy guitar, I think you'll fall in love with it as I have. I love it but suspect some people won't because it is really different from a traditional strap.I'll buy one for each of my gig guitars.

I read every review. Twice. And now I'll add mine. This strap is great for my needs. I have a Gibson Les Paul. If you know you know. Those can wear on the shoulder in a hurry. I have a couple of other wide straps. A leather one which grips the shirt too much and isn't fine adjustable, and a nylon one that has always been good for my other guitars on stage/practice. But that Les Paul...Enter the KLIQ AirCell. It doesn't make the Les Paul any lighter. Because physics, but it does help alleviate where the weight sits and is distribute on my shoulder. Because physiology. I was able to get a good fit for my standing stance/profile. I'm 5'7". Dark hair dark eyes. The stretch wasn't noticeable to me and even when I'm rocking "it" out, I don't feel the bounce some others get. Maybe I'm not doing it right. This strap does suck if you sit. It's stiff enough that it wants to keep standing. Much like things in jr high. There is a slight chemical smell. Does that go away? I hope. Does it matter to me? No. Could this review be anymore annoying? Don't tempt me.
