My Grandson loves the safe and the ability to change the combination. We made the "Secret card box" and he loves it for hiding his safe key. (need grandpa's help cutting the cards).Hope the door alarm is sturdy enough. Have not made it yet but early reviews cautioned about it.

I strongly advise you against buying this. The idea is awesome but as the product doesn't work, it's a huge letdown. My husband helped my son to build it and it doesn't work at all--and my husband is an engineer, so it's not as though we let our 8-year-old wreck it. It just never worked. I do not suggest buying this toy. We've wasted so much time trying to figure out how to get the code to work. We've tried all four possibilities many times and none work; the person who wrote this is a dud is right. It's a total dud.

A gift for my son and he loved it, however it was a bit tricky to set up. Once its put together its not easy to break apart.All well and good but my son put one side on the wrong way by acciden toops. Read the instructions first parents and its a great safe!
