No need to look further. Yes, it's worth the extra cost. It's a small work of genius design, well-built, very stable even on carpeting yet portable enough to store in the bell of your clarinet!

Nice compromise of utility and size/portability. A larger and heavier stand could have perhaps a bit more stability, but life is a compromise. The fact that it fits in the bell of the clarinet for easy transport in the case is a plus. The folding legs do provide a relatively stable platform. Having said that, I do value my instrument and would be hesitant to leave it on stage at a break or during a concert if fellow musicians might be walking past it to get into their seats.

This is such a well-designed, solid stand. I love how the legs fold up inside the body for clever storage. The fact that the whole thing fits inside the case inside the clarinet bell is also a plus.

It is small but holds the clarinet upright. We use it on carpets and it stands great. It's small enough so that it fits in the bell while in the case.

Funcionamiento intachable.Una vez plegado su tamaño se reduce al mÃnimo y puede escondersedentro del extremo del clarinete.Respecto a otros soportes tiene dos ventajas de sobresaliente.1- 5 patas de un material de alta resistencia que dan una estabilidad maximaa nuestro clarinete.2- Una vez plegado las dimensiones son las mas pequeñas del mercado que he visto.BuenÃsima compra
