Far better product than the cheap paper ones than the service stations use. Give this to the mechanic and watch him install it. Don’t loose the “o†ring that comes in the box.

I bought this filter in January 2018 however I just did my oil change yesterday. So far, this filter looks and feel like the Volvo original part I got with the car. It comes with a gasket as well which is easy to swap. It would be nice if it was coming with a crush washer as well for the oil plug but not a big deal.Price on this filter goes up and down, so make sure to get it when on sale.I've driven just a few miles with it to check and no leaks or anything wrong so I guess it'll last as long than the OEM one.I'm using the recommended Castrol 5W30 with this filter which is synthetic.I'll report if something comes up.
