I've always used the K&N filter with the socket receiver when changing the oil in my diesel truck. Without the socket end it's very difficult to reach up in there with any other type of removal tool. I started using the K&N filter on my other two cars as well. They hold up nicely.

K&N makes some of the best for auto parts and this is no different. The fit is great and the quality shows. The price for this is only slightly more than generic ones made in China. An excellent product, highly recommended. Made in Korea.

Happy to see that K&N is offering cartridge filters (I may make it a requirement that all future vehicles have these top-mount cartridge filters... pair it with a Fumoto drain plug, and you can literally do oil changes wearing a suit and tie). Install was a breeze, of course, and not issues. I'll update this review if I run into any or if any of the future filters don't live up to expectations.

I'm on my second K&N oil filter now for my 2012 Wrangler since I have owned it. First time I changed the oil I used Royal Purple 5w-30 motor oil. After driving it 6k miles I changed the oil again and used this filter for the second time. The oil was still fairly clean and you could still see through the stream of oil coming out of the motor. I'm using Valvoline full synthetic currently in 5w-30 viscosity.As for the filter, its about the same price or less as the Mopar OEM filter and it seems to built better as well. Can't go wrong with K&N since filters are their specialty and the price is right.

I've used this 6 times by the time of this review. Each time I order one I always inspect the filter and so far there's been zero imperfections (unlike other brands I've seen). I like how the o-ring fits tightly on the filter cap. I've used Fram and STP, both of them you could remove the o-ring with your bare hands but with the one K&N provides you'll need a flathead screwdriver.

I've been changing the oil in my old cars for years but this is the first time I've had a car new enough to use this new style of oil filter and it's amazing! No more oil dripping down all over the engine and getting on me and everything. It was the easiest job ever. I've got a 2012 Dodge durango but this should fit in a multitude of cars with the this same 3.6L engine. I won't provide a how-to there's plenty of those out there. I chose the K&N over Fram or even the mopar oem just because of the brand recognition, quality and I trust their products. I put in 6 quarts of pennzoil full synthetic. Only time will tell how things hold up in the long run. This filter popped in no problem. Will buy again for sure.

I have a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. I don't drive it enough to wear out the synthetic oil I use but I want to keep the engine in tip top shape. Fortunately this Jeep has the oil filter on top of the motor so you ch change it without loosing any oil. So, I buy the best filter money can buy and change it every 3 months and the oil every 6 months. I have everything set up as an automatic shipment and never worry about the process. When I get a filter I change it. When I get a filter and Oil I change both. This is stupid smart:)

Der Ölfilter wurde für einen Jeep Wrangler JK 3.6 BJ 2013 gekauft.ANWENDUNGDer Filter wird in den Ölfilterdeckel gesteckt und mit diesem eingeschraubt. Spezielles Werkzeug ist zum Filterwechsel nicht erforderlich. Für das Aufschrauben festsitzender Ölfilterdeckel empfiehlt sich jedoch ein spezieller Ölfilterschlüssel bzw. beim Jeep Wrangler ein passender Gabelschlüssel.LEISTUNGDas Filtermaterial macht einen robusten Eindruck und ist typischerweise bei K&N rot gefärbt. Der Gummidichtring wirkt ebenfalls qualitativ hochwertig und reißt nicht bei der Montage. Bislang hatte ich bei Verwendung dieses Filters keine Probleme/Leistungseinbussen.VERPACKUNGFilter und Dichtring werden in einer kompakten Papierschachtel geliefert. Ökologisch positiv ist, dass auf Plastikbeutel verzichtet wurde.FAZITIch habe diesen Filter schon mehrfach verbaut und würde ihn jederzeit wiederkaufen.

Like a lot of reviews have said, I have a k500 2.0 machine and it just doesn't recognize these cups.
