These nylon-coated stainless steel silver connectors are made of resilient and flexible material. These flexible cords lay flat, with no kink or twist, making them easy to store. The long threaded screw-in “join” insures that cord and needles stay connected. Tightening hole provided in the metal join for extra secure tightening and a specially designed “key” facilitates effortless tightening. I had almost given up on my interchangeable, as the cables don't stay in during use. recently, I was mid- project, needed to add acablree, and I couldn't find my cable case. so, I ordered a new set. What a difference! no more dropped knitting. these cables are the bomb! If you have been tormented by cables that don't stay engaged, I recommend that you give this set a try. my only complaint is that I[one cable was "wonky". the threaded end was askew so it doesn't engage completely. I messaged seller, got no reply

These cords are a great value and give me every size I need. They don't curl up easily and feel sturdy. I like the ease of taking the needles off and putting them on. They stay secure while working on my project.

When I received these black cords some were gray and sticky/powdery as if the last process in manufacturing (cleaning/polishing) was not complete. I washed all the cords with dish soap and wiped the material off with paper towels. Seems to be ok now.The lengths provided in this pack are great!Fits all my Dreamz needles from 3.0 mm to 15 mm!

This set of interchangeable cords are perfect for people that have several projects going on at the same time. I can use these on my Tunisian crochet hooks and my knitting needles!

I love knitting in the round. What I didn't love was the number of round needles that I had to buy and the cost of replacing them and the mess in the drawer that I kept them in. I should have bought these 30 years ago. They are lightweight and encourage me to take on larger projects. I never use my straight needles anymore. The weight of the sweater or scarf sits on my lap not on the needles. This set of cords has a cord long enough to knit a sweater for a large person ( 2X) with worsted yarn, in the round, with a #9 needle. (300 stitches) Knitting in the round eliminates the side seams adds comfort and streamlines the look of the finished sweater. Experienced knitters know this. I also am currently using the smaller cords and screw on ends to hold the stitches for the sleeves. They are so light that I hardly notice them. I enjoy knitting more and travel with my kit everywhere. I was stopped in the airport once but since the needles are small and made out of wood I guess they didn't find me a threat.
