Super annoying that the YouTube links to help you are not correct in the manual so it makes it pretty hard to follow at the end of putting the hat together.

Nice yarn for just starting out knitting. The needles are great too, so much easier to use big needles when starting out. I would buy this again and buy for someone as a gift! Came in very nice/cute packaging that can be reused as well. LOTS of yarn. If you didn’t have enough yarn to make a hat…something is not right lolCareful with the yarn if you are casting on and redoing work over and over, it can split. Otherwise this is basically a perfect little kit!

The yarn had a surprise knot in it and was really frayed at edge. Very frustrating as a beginner, mid-row to discover a knot and have to figure out what to do. Had that not gained my review would still be disappointed- the directions aren’t helpful and the recommended video to watch was taken down. Recommend you keep looking for other vendors.

This is overpriced and the needles are very low quality. Instruction booklet is poorly worded in places. Impossible to learn from booklet alone

This was the first time I had ever tried knitting. The instructions weren’t very good, it mainly gives you links to YouTube videos, you’re better off just searching YouTube yourself. But the kit contains everything you need, and the finished hat is great. You could probably save money by buying the yarn individually, but as I was starting from scratch, this was a great kit for a beginner which included needles too. Only gave it 4 stars due to the instructions not being great, but aside from that a good kit.

I was expecting something special, but don’t get fooled this kit is literally a two pack yarn, two needles, and a Pom.Checked, you can buy 10 times as much material here on Amazon from the price, and YouTube is full of tutorial videos.

The material sent seem of good quality.The instructions sent are pretty useless. Particularly for absolute beginners like myself.(Some of the videos linked are no longer available, for example).The best part about the instructions is that each section names what it will do (i.e. cast on / knit stitch (K) / cast off), so then you can go to YouTube and try and figure out what on earth you should do and try and apply it to the material / instructions the company sent.I'm interested in how the hat will turn out
