I bought this to use with a bug zapper that didnt have a switch or photocell on it. Works great. The only issue I have with it is, Id like for the switch to be on the other end of the cord. But I understand for many applications, the switch would be in the right place. I could have just returned it and got the short cord made by the same company. This way you could use any extension cord and just use the short cord on either end. But since it was a "me" mistake and I am sure I will have uses for this cord, I felt I should just keep it.Build quality and switch operation are great. Should last a long time.

I bought this for outdoor use to turn on/off my outdoor fountain. The switch works great so i don't have to plug & unplug the cord. It's been outside for 4 months with no issues.

just what I needed so I don't have to keep pulling the putting the plug back in. I also used one on my small compressor, the on/off switch is on the bottom and in back, hard to get to, this worked great.

This cord switch is pretty "beefy" compared to typical switches. I plan to use it for LED lights in our shed and I think it'll work fine for that.
