No pre spray. Images are bright and ink stays where put, no bleeding. It does rip so be careful when applying to surfaces. Watch the Youtube videos on howto apply. My new go to for waterslides. Can't wait for Koloa to come up with a clear waterslide.

This decal paper is easily my new favorite decal paper to use for projects. The convenience of having ready to go Decals is unmatched. You will no longer need to wait for the Decals to dry after spraying 15 thousand coat of Cancerous sealer before using them. The film itself is not very sticky as opposed to other Decal paper’s I’ve used in the past.I highly recommend using a solution such as “Micro Sol” and “Micro Set” to soften the decals and make them more easier to work with. I won’t explain how to use Micro Sol and Micro Set in this review as their are plenty of YouTube videos to search for giving you step by step instructions on how to use those solutions. The Matte finish threw me off a bit as I am used to working with highly Glossy Decal paper but it’s understandable considering the paper is compatible with Inkjet printers so their needed to be some chances to the paper itself.I would recommend Koala to keep upgrading the product and maybe using a material that will be a bit more Glossy and that will stick better to the surface one is applying the decal to.I would love to see Koala make a Transparent or “Clear” version in the near future.I’ve read some of the reviews and will say to come up with your own judgement once you purchase the decal paper. Most reviewers don’t know how to properly use or make Decals so keep that in mind.

The color was great. Tears very easily! I would spray over it to keep it from tearing.

I don't print often, but these puppies look crisp and clean (I was doing B&W only) to me. Transfer is easy, just like when I was a kid finishing a Revel model. Looks good (even from my cheap inkjet) easy to work with. didn't run, etc.

Bought this for a project. Was applying to acrylic plaque. Description says that it's good for use on plastic. Read/followed directions. Image flaked off. Wouldn't stick. Even tried using heat which was one of the tips which only lead to the product pulling up at the corners, and could be picked off with very little effort. Definitely not a good quality product. At least not in the capacity I needed it for. Definitely will not be buying again.

So first of all, the instructions are a bit misleading to people. It says the print side is the side that is smoother and lighter color, but both sides are almost identical in color. The side that is more papery and smooth is the backing paper, not the decal. The decal side had a lot of small air bubbles(?) which made it feel more rough. I wasted 2 sheets of paper because of this mistake. The decal works well, but would probably need a sealant. You should let the ink set and then spray to protect the ink, even though it says it's not needed. I also used acrylic clear coat over the decal after it dried because it looked like the decal wouldn't stay well by itself. It worked out in the end but the product description is a little misleading.

I seen complaints about lifting so i used a basecoat after white gel and I'm having zero issues going on day 3 with my nails fully covered in it. I do use builder gel and top coat with sealing the edges too. I used cheap beauty sponges to help dry the paper. Maybe the other users weren't ensuring it was dry before top coating. I will buy again!

I've tried doing waterslide crafts with paper needing the spraying technique in the past. Other paper bled as soon as it was placed in water, after spraying swveral times and waiting the recommended time. This Koala product is EXCELLENT!! These were completed in minutes, from printing to sliding onto mugs. I will definitely utilize this Brand for other projects.

I make my own transfers for model buses, some of which are absolutely tiny. Using conventional ink jet waterslide paper, a coat of acrylic lacquer or varnish is required to seal the ink and prevent in washing off during its wetting process to release it from the backing paper. The issue with having tiny transfers is the water ingress at the edges causes the ink to feather and leak out leaving a white edge. Also the varnish can react very slightly with the ink, causing the ink to bloom and lose sharpness.Koala Mate No spray retains sharp print and the edges don't bleed out, so the result is a much cleaner, more reliable transfer, which is quicker and easier to make and use. The photos added are of a 1:76 scale model with tiny adverts printed on Koala Paper. The model is approximately five inches long.

I am incredibly pleased with this water slide decal! After printing and following instructions it separated effortlessly in water, just as it should, making the application process smooth and hassle-free. The decal slid onto the surface with ease, adhered beautifully, and left no bubbles or wrinkles. The colors stayed vibrant, and the final result looks professional. Highly recommend it.

Mal producto, no funciona como lo describen, no se adhiere, cabe mencionar que se siguieron las indicaciones tal cual se mencionan. Me gustaría no dar ninguna estrella pero la calificación no lo permite, mi recomendación es que no lo compren...
