This works when the original crumbles or you manage to destroy or break fingers off the old one when working on the sprayer. Feels flimsy but a fresh one seems to hold pressure fine.The question everyone has: The O-ring goes in by itself, before the clip. The old one may still be in the sink-side connector. It does not go around the clip or around the sprayer connector or anywhere else.

It took some work to install but it works well with no issues. I could have used some better instructions. I had to break the old one to remove it.

I'm so glad I was able to get this through amazon. Kohler was no help and took too long to get this piece. Which led to us not having a sink for days

Needed this part to attach Kohler supplied hose from faucet spray head to fitting under the kitchen sink. Original part was damaged during removal by plumber due to poor Kohler design. Most faucet manufacturers use plastic or nylon clips for easy DIY attachment.Plumber had some difficulty determining proper placement of “O†ring during re-install due to inferior product documents included with part (or shown on Kohler YouTube videos meant for DIYers or professionals).Once installed it worked well.Since this part will likely be damaged when being removed, always ask for a replacement when calling Kohler for a free replacement hose under their lifetime guarantee program. This part is not included with the hose unless you ask for it. There will be a charge for this part even though the hose will be free.

I had an original part fail in my old otherwise perfectly functioning faucet. It started to pour water underneath the sink. So I just removed the broken plastic, cleaned the pipe from inside and the hose to remove calcium deposits. I did not use the new o-ring as the old one appeared to be intact and seated inside the faucet, it was a bit hard to remove due to constrained space under the sink. Then I simply inserted the new part into the faucet, and then plugged the hose all the way in. If you decide to install the new o-ring, make sure to remove the old one first and insert the new one into the faucet first, then insert the plastic part, then the hose.

I am SO glad I was able to order this part and the replacement hose on Amazon! Saved me a trip to the city to try to find what I needed in a big box store. Saved me from having to buy a whole new faucet $$$! A quick YouTube video helped make this switch-a-roo easy peasy.

Used it for a faucet hose install. It is a bit finicky to install. A little patience and it goes in. It is not original but does fit and no leaks
