I had been wanting to remodel my shower for more of a spa type feel with a large rain shower type head but still have the option for use of a hand shower. This shower pipe was the best option that didn't involve tearing apart the whole shower and redoing the plumbing. Installation was strait forward with the biggest issue being the drilling of the holes through my porcelain tile shower surround. I had to obtain the proper diamond tipped hole saw for drilling the holes. Wall thickness and clearances are critical for proper installation of the attachment points, make sure you check the specifications. My wall was at the lower limit of thickness and I had to use some stainless steel washers on the lower bracket to plumb the pipe which was all hidden by the bracket cover so you can't see it. I did not know that the flexible hose was included with the pipe and had bought one instead. Works wonderfully with a Hansgrohe 10 inch shower head and hand shower.

The functionality, being able to adjust the height of the hand held head, and ease of installation, is excellent not to mention how good it looks in the shower. The contractor doing my renovation wants one for his shower now.

Unable to install due to the upper portion of the water source nipple is too long .

Product was sold by vendor that was already opened. Upon installation it bent at the top.

It is nice and heavy duty but for that price, anything less would be unacceptable.
