I have had multiple shoulder and hand surgeries and spine surgery, so my days of using loppers or hand pruners were over - but, the buckthorn keeps growing, our chain link fence had disappeared into it, arrgh. Couldn't find any landscaping company will to do the work, got depressed. So, I thought, well, there must be a tool, right? Enter the KOMOK Professional Cordless Electric Pruning Shears - wow! It is pricey, yes, but OMG it works so well! Lightweight and easy to maneuver (a big plus when trying to cut buckthorn that has wound into and around the chain link fence). It CUTS thru everything, so easily! Even branches that were over 1 inch diameter! Comes with 2 batteries, they charge quickly, and I used the 1st one for 9+ hours - before it started to slow down a little. I feel so much happier now - my chain link fence has been unearthed, and I know I can use these shears on anything! Be careful though - it is powerful and sharp. LOVE this product, hope it lasts forever.

Mine just arrived, today, so I have not had a chance to try it, yet, but I will say, here, what I can. It arrived very well packaged...no dents or tears in the package. It is quite hefty, and quite complete, with two batteries, a wrench and an extra blade,, plus a little bottle of oil for lubrication. I plan on taking on my ride on mower with me, so when I come across a low hanging branch, I can cut it right off, rather than coming back with the proper tool to do the job. I am going to keep it stored in the box for safety and security. The batteries will always be charged, so I will be ready to go, even at the slightest twig! Forgot to include...attached to the packing box was the UPS receipt, along with the invoice, saying the value is $19.90! Used it fir the first time, yesterday. Had to read instructions to find you had to "double click" the trigger to get it to start. Cuts really fast and thoroughly. I even cut a larger stick than the 1.5 inches...just cut half way through, bent the stick, then, cut the rest. Did a lot of cutting and still have a full charge. Not too sure about the safety and finger-thing. I am not even going to test that. Be careful. It is very strong! Love it! Just saw another ad for this same tool from a site called adelphide for $29.95 plus shipping. That's quite a markup, here! I wish I had seen that ad, sooner!!!

This mechanical share has been so wonderful to use. When I have a lot of pruning to do, it really helps with muscle fatigue in my hands. There is one thing worth mentioning. Believe it or not it has a fail safe to prevent you from cutting off your finger. That may seem stupid but more than once my finger was close to the blades and I partially activated the trigger. The deal. It is supposed to sense your skin and not activate. Unless you’re wearing gloves. I also found out if your hands are just a little bit moist and the branch is that you’re holding it thinks the branch is your finger and won’t cut the branch, so wear a glove. Huh? Yeah I’m still trying to figure out that safety issue but I got all my fingers still. Well worth the money if you have a lot of trees like I do. I mean a lot.

These really work and are easy to use. However, turning them on and off can be a problem. They have a type of electronic brain that responds to how you use the trigger, but response is not always the same. Also, plugging a hole to keep oil in does not seem to be the best design. The bottom line is that they work very well once you get the shears to open and battery life is very acceptable. My gardener really likes them and is learning how to close the shears before putting them away. Timing of trigger pull seems to be fussy.

The customer service is awesome, the tool works beautifully. I have small hands and arthritis so it was time to get something to trim the bushes and trees that never stop growing in Florida. Above is a photo of an Arabian Lilac that toppled over a few days ago and had to be heavily trimmed to save it. The storm was so strong it whipped around like a tornado. The limbs were larger than an inch and very hard wood. The clippers worked great and we got the job done in less than an hour. Hand trimmers would have taken forever. The cuts are clean and precise so no worries about cracking etc.Just work carefully and don't get your fingers anywhere near the blades when using or when removing the batteries. Its lighter than it looks so fatigue was not a problem. Just can only say positive things about this. I also bought the smaller one as well so that when my husband and I work together one cuts the big stuff and the other trims to fit into the recycle bin. It never freezes here so we are going to get lots of use out of these tools. Love love it. A must tool for hurricane season, which is now upon us ugh.

I have nothing to dislike. On my particular project trimming back a HUGE section of false spiria. I have done this several times before using different methods. The last such time was clipping all that with a manual pair on pruners. Due to it having to look nice it all has to be cleaned up, brush cutter, gas hedge trimmer all make a mess or take way to much labour cleaning up the unorganized mess after cutting. These pruners registerd 5404 cuts Then I even did more before the battery gave up (yes only one charged battery got that far). False spiria in not tough, But I can say if you use these pruners with common sense they are worth every penny.

Si se utiliza mucho la tijera, como es normal , la hoja sufre, de eso que es importante el repuesto ( deberÃa venir un repuesto con las mismas tijeras)

I’ve been look at these for a while and wondered whether they would be worth the price. But i am very happy with them. They are easy to use and i no longer get any RSI or rubs that i used to get from my secitures. I would say they are more towards replacing my long handled lopers as the jaws even on the narrow setting the jaws are quite wide. First season owning them and first battery is only down to 80% so optimistic about getting good use out of them this year. The status screen has been very useful giving battery % and the number of cuts you have left. A real labour saving device but keep then out of childrens way as they cut throw finger sized sticks with ease.
