They can fall off if bumped when the stockings are empty, but they all held heavy stockings overnight which was what we wanted. The stockings all varied in weight, but I tested them with 3lbs (2 lbs jar marinara and 1 lb veg broth if you're curious) and there was no problem even without adhesive. They're also low-profile, so they are nice to decorate around.

These stocking hooks are perfect. They are very sturdy. They look so elegant and the hook size fits multiple different stockings .They are easy to hang and have a perfect grip. Very light and Easy to move. I chose theGold option, which gives the perfect Christmas look. Such a good product for a great price.

These mantle hooks work well. I needed something simple to hang my family’s stockings this year and didn’t want to spend a ton of money. They’re simple, modern looking and do the job. I wish they were a little heavier but they do the job and are pretty good for the price.

I purchased for hanging memorial ornaments I had made this year, of our passed pups (yes, that is dust). The ornaments may not be up all year, but definitely beautiful and needed to revel in memories and reflect on our pups lost over time since we lost one unexpectedly just before Thanksgiving.Beautiful color. Sturdy. Will handle a pretty full stocking I think. The part you put on the mantle has an option to write a name in white on a black surface. Just beautiful.

These are maybe ok if very little weight is added. They are cheap, flimsy and either don't sit right or fall off the mantle. Save your money!
