Duck automatically stops downhill movement, preventing falling. It is used in mountaineering, caving, tree climbing and rescue operations. Duck is designed for the use of strings with a diameter of 8 to 13 mm. Made of aluminum alloy, its lightness (only 70g) and compactness, do not preclude its strength and strength. It works thanks to a toothless cam that limits damage to the rope, locking when it is subjected to the load and thus preventing it from sliding down. Works great for what I need it for. Rope grab on a grillion to get yourself out of messed situations. Build quality is great, easy to use with one hand. It is very lightweight. There is cheaper rope grab/ascenders out there for sure but the price isn’t bad considering it’s going to be used a lot.

Corren bien para subir(con las cuerdas tensas) y hacen su funcion perfectamente en caso de caida.

Estoy moderadamente contento con el Kong, es muy ligero y pequeño, de modo que no molesta colgado en el arnés. Puesto que no tiene roldana es un poco más duro que otros bloqueadores como la microtraxion de petzl, pero puesto que es un elemento de seguridad que se utiliza muy rara vez, su tamaño y peso reducido y si facilidad de uso hacen que sea una buena alternativa a los nudos bloqueadores y a otros elementos bloqueadores más grandes y pesados.
