I bought these because I was using my truck to help move a business in NY in December. I managed to dodge the snow while in NY and it hasn't snowed since I got back to TN so I guess they work great. I did do a trial fit, they are much easier to install than the old ladder chain style and appear to be well designed and built.

For a trip to Breck, these chains were excellent. The final pass into town was mandatory chain up. Attached in 5 minutes. Could have been faster except for the buildup of snow in the wheel well. I highly recommend!

The mounting is easy as described.For the a.m. tires the fastening part (locking chain) is rather short, it could not connect across the tire (just to the next second field).However with the second use of the chains one link of the running part (street contact) disappeared (probl. broken) and I had to utilize one of the spare links.

I bought these before a trip from southern CA to northern WA in late Nov/early Dec, just in case. They were required on the way back during a snowstorm on the I5, and they worked flawlessly. Perfect fit, easy on and off, and so much better than the cable variety. Pricey, but worth it.

Does not properly fit tire. Per the manufacturer my tire size works with the product I purchased. However, upon placing the chains on my tire the tensioning system reaches its limit before the chains are close to snug. As the manufacturer apparently does not know what size chains fit what size tire I would not recommend this product (unless you can fit test them before buying because they seem robust and are easy to apply).

Ease of installation, very little noise compared to my old chains. Like the diamond pattern, it means I have chain contact with the road surface all the time

These worked well. Pretty confusing getting on and I still ended up stuck but anyone would’ve without a lift on their truck.
