Description says these 15mL tubes are sterile. For laboratory use, this cannot be true as they were received loose/bulk packaged in a CARDBOARD shipping box; not protected in a sealed plastic bag as one would expect. While this may be acceptable for some, not able to use in a biosafety cabinet for sensitive cell culture processes. Disappointed this type of packaging not in product description.

These tubes do well under pressure in order to sterilize the sample solution inside. The 15 ml size gives a good deal of room for a sample to fit. This is a good value as 200 pcs will last a long time and are more durable and cost effective than using glass vials for sample storage.

these are great for storing cultures for long periods of time :) ive used many in the past with no issues. just find the right TeK and build the library!
