Scissors are plastic so no need to worry for kids safety. Plastic Material is hard and sturdy. A lot of pictures for cutting and kids really enjoyed. My little one learns cutting skills and easy to use for him.

It came with a lot of papers to practice different angles. Not exactly the best quality of paper, but they are fun and interesting for kids. The scissors are very safe that I feel comfortable leaving these out on an activity table.

This is a great start for toddlers to learn scissor safety and how to actually learn how to cut. The papers they give are thin and pretty much easy for the kids to navigate.

These are a bit difficult for my 4 year old. But it's great practice. The cute pictures keep her engaged. She begs for them. Great deal too.

Finding plastic scissors is almost impossible. Glad I found these. They cut paper and not other things. The trainer addition is a plus to help with learning to cut. Glad I found these and bought then.

Tons of pages to cut and practice with. The papers are magazine type paper. The scissors do a fine job cutting them as long as you're cutting straight, but do dull quickly. Cute little set and was definitely worth the money, my 4yr old spends hours playing with these even though though they've began to dull. I do wish the papers came in a pull out book or something rather than loose pages though, it's hard to keep them together and neat with them being so thin and kinda slippery.
