Your cart is empty.This Pack Of 12 Incandescent Decorative Chandelier light bulbs are 15 watts with a flame shaped bent tip and crystal clear finish. The average rated lifetime is 1500 hours. They produce around 95 lumens, have a candelabra (E12) base (Which is 12mm in diameter) and will work with a dimmer. They are ideally used in Chandeliers, ceiling fixtures, portables, vanities, and sconces, as well as other household lighting fixtures or fans. The basic design of the incandescent lamp has not changed much since the late 1800s, when Thomas Alva Edison successfully produced the first operational electric light bulb. The filament inside an incandescent lamp must be protected so that oxygen does not reach it and cause it to evaporate on contact. Most incandescent lamps are either vacuum-sealed or gas-filled. Incandescent lamp filaments are made of tungsten. Tungsten is a metal that can operate at very high temperatures without evaporating too quickly and resulting in early lamp failure. Incandescent filaments only convert about 10-Percent of the energy used into visible light, so it is necessary to use a material that can withstand extremely high temperatures. Most lamps use a coiled filament design, which has been found to be stronger and deliver better performance.

These lights are exactly what I was looking for. They are working well in the light fixture I got them for. The bulb quality is good and I expect them to perform well.

...Too bright for my needs. I was looking for something really soft and slightly warmer, so I went with a 15W bulb. But these bulbs are good. Nice neutral white (not too cool or too warm, though I tend to like warmer lights myself). I feel these are fairly bright. Just not what I was looking for. Still 5 stars bc of light and quality.

Pros: Quick service, pkg arriv'g safely, smaller bulbs, competitive price, nicely dimmableIt is very difficult to still find incandescent bulbs with the competitive Halogen and other newtechnologies taking precedence, esp. when it comes to candelabra bulbs.I rec'd mine in the mail very quickly and all 12 of them arrived w/o being broken or faulty --no small feat when sending delicate bulbs thru the mail.If a customer is interested in buy'g these, they prob shud know ahead of time that they are smaller than some otherstandard candelabra bulbs. These bulbs R ~ 1/4 smaller than the ones I had in my chandelier before. They measurejust under 3.5"inches (or 9 cm) from base to tip. It wud help the customer to know this info in the ad beforehand.I tho't that being smaller might be a problem but it was not. They R still 25 watts and give off the same brightness.And actually, these bulbs turned out to be better for my chandelier in that the small shades that fit over the bulbcome down lower than with my previous larger/taller bulbs. So, these smaller ones actually hide more of the glare,thus making it easier on the eyes (since I look up into the chandelier that hangs above my living room table where I eat.)B-4 buy'g these bulbs I read several reviews on these bulbs and others (in particular Halogen wh were supposed to bedimmable but didn't dim very well. These bulbs dim, right down to almost nothing. So, no problema there!Questionable: I wudn't consider it necessarily a con, but simply question why the mail'g cost is $6+. Spendingalmost $20 (product & ship'g) for 12 small incandescent bulbs seems a bit high, esp considering the light weightof the bulbs. I think the mail'g & ship/g cost cud go down somewhat. But will still give these a 5 star.

These bulbs have been discontinued so it was amazing to get them in such a large quantity too. They make my chandelier look beautiful.
