I work at a gas station in Alaska and have to wear ice cleats of some kind whenever I go outside in the winter months. The station provide quality cleats but I didn’t like them.So I bought these and they are awesome. Unlike other cleats there is nothing on the toe/front of the show or boot. And this works perform for me because when I have to walk through the store I’m not slipping around because of only having metal cleats on the tile floor.They have the traction on the heel and the ability to have your normal show soul on the toe.

These are fantastic. I had problems with traditional traction aids falling off my boots, the fact you can tighten these is a game changer.

By the time I bought them, we didn't have that much winter left. However, they worked well on the ice. My only issue was that I had problems tucking them successfully on the back of my boot without them going slightly askew. It could easily be that it was because there wasn't that much winter left, thank goodness!

I pulled them out of the box and went to pull the dial up so that I could loosen them up and the whole knob came off the face of the cleat. I took some time to see how it is supposed to snap in place and it is somewhat deformed. So it won't stay snapped in. I did not want to return them so I put a drop of superglue in where the top tab is supposed to seat. I hope that works and I don't have to throw them away. Great concept, possibly poor design on the laching in of the knob. I will update my review if I get to use them and the knob does not keep falling out.

I had the same problem as a previous reviewer. The first time I pulled the dial up to loosen the wires it popped out and could not be reseated. We actually purchased two pairs and one pair worked fine, so maybe it's a 50/50 chance of getting a good pair.

Used a couple times ice fishing. Really need support under toes. Doesn't stay in place in heel position when walking indoors.
