UPDATE: 3 DAYS LATERWELL.... UNFORTIUNATELY, NOT QUITE STRONG ENOUGH TO WITHSTAND BEING HIT BY A DELIVERY TRUCK. IT HELD UP BETTER THAN THE BATTERY CASE, OR EVEN THE BATTERIES FOR THAT MATTER, FOR THE LIGHTS I'D SEWN ONTO THE FLAG AND WOVE DOWN ON THE POLE. WHAT WOULD IT TAKE TO INTIMIDATE DRIVERS ENOUGH TO STAY OUT OF A CURBED ENTRANCE ISLAND GARDEN BED? DO WE NEED TO BUILD ONE OUT OF 12 INCHES OF SOLID STONE SO THE DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK WOULD BE AS SIGNIFICANT AS THE DAMAGE IT INFLICTS? THAT SAID, THE POLE DID WITHSTAND HEAVY WINDS JUST FINE.“WELCOME” SNOWMAN GARDEN FLAG & KOUTEMIE 49 INCH EXTRA TALL STAND- THE SNOWMAN MAKES ME WANT TO SMILE.I put the “Welcome” Smiling Snowman together with the 49” Koutemie Flag/BannerStand. It has additional ground spikes -5 in all- and two height choices: ”33” or 49”. It all appears well made. The metal stand is powder coated to resistrusting and the metal poles aren’t flimsy but appear to be plenty strong.This flag/ banner stand is made to accommodate 12” x18” flags. It comes withadditional plastic hardware for positioning the flag and holding it in place.The snowman garden flag with a casement at the top for hanging, is madefrom polyester resembling burlap. It’s printed on both sides so no matter wheresomeone is, they’ll see it. It’s suppose to be machine washable. If it rainseveryday from Thanksgiving to New Year’s, I don’t really expect the “Welcome”Snowman flag to hold up enough to re-use again next yr. if it does, Great!If not, well, the snowman banner cost under $5,00 so it’s not a big dealif it has to be replaced each yr. Plus, the stand to hang the flag/banner fromcan be used for other holidays or seasons— assuming it’s stable and strongenough to with-stand all weather. They say it is. Time will tell but that’spartially why I purchased the one I did. If this doesn’t work, I’ll edit my review,otherwise, I think this will be a nice addition to place in our driveway landscapeisland with other holiday decorations. I have two themes going, red bowsand snowmen. This fits right in.Now, I’m going to look for a solar powered short string of lights to attach toeither the upright pole or all around the edges of the flag—maybe both!I’m optimistic enough that I think the PNW will get enough sun to power thelights.The garden flag & stand arrived a few days ago and today, being Thanksgiving,Day, time to get the decorations out so I decided to start with this. You know‘something old, something new”—we’re starting with the new.. It’s not hardto put together but, hopefully, the instructions/notes below will make iteasier for you. Just reading them may be confusing, but if you have the piecesin front of you you’ll know what I’m talking about.1. The two spring-loaded blocks go on the top cross bar where you hang the flag or banner from. You’ll notice, the upright pole pieces have a wider diameter than the top bar. The spring-loaded blocks won’t fit on the upright pieces. To attach, you have to depress the button which will open-up the hole. to slide it on the metal bar. You have to keep it depressed until you have it positioned where you want it. Place one on the bar and slide it all the way over to the opposite end. You can do any minor adjustments once everything’s been put together. Then you’re ready for the flag.2. It takes a little finagling to work the flag/banner onto that top bar because of the curlicues on it, but if you angle it into the sleeve casement and work a little bit on at a time, most flags should fit. You want to put one spring-loaded block on first and slide it all the way to the other end, then put the flag/banner on and follow that with the 2nd. spring-loaded block. You can make minor adjustments to their positions once everything’s put together. Remember, it’s spring-loaded block, flag & then spring-loaded block. Now your top bar, that you hang the flag/banner from, is done.3. Screw the upright pole pieces together.4. They tell you to put the bottom clip for the flag on before attaching the pole pieces together. I recommend waiting and attaching it when you’re ready for it, otherwise it will slide down the pole. The strap is velcro. You wrap it around the pole and put the long strap end through the “buckle”. You need to open that little piece (flip it up) and you’ll see where you can slide the end of the strap through. It’s kind of like those little plastic straps to keep wires together. Once you’ve threaded the strap through, close it and press the short end of the velcro against itself it should attach as velcro does.5. Opening the clip part itself was a little tricky, and, to be honest, I’m not sure what I did to open it. I was pressing the button and trying to pry the clip apart with my finger nail when it popped open. I think it simply took pressing the button just right. ??6. OK. You’ve hung the flag off the top bar, and attached the upright pole pieces together. If you want the taller pole (49” tall) you need to use all 3 of the longer upright pole pieces. If you want the stand shorter (33” tall), use only two sections. The pole pieces easily screw together.7. Now, you’re ready to screw the top bar onto the upright pole and then add the clip it to the pole at a level to attach to the bottom of the flag.8. Make sure you’ve tightened all sections of the upright pole together. when placing in the ground,All that’s left is putting it in the ground at your desired location and enjoy.I haven’t done that last part yet.. We’ll do that tomorrow—it’s cold and darkoutside now, and being a new, addition I’m not sure of it’s exact placement.However, I’m ready to go. All decorations have been brought upstairsfrom the garage and tomorrow is decoration day.HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALL!PS. At this point, I highly recommend both the “Welcome” Snowman GardenFlag & the Koutemie 49 inch Extra Tall Garden Flag Stand. If that changes, I’lledit this review.

Bought these flag poles for a little flags that go around the mailbox and the flower bags and these are very solid made out of high gauge metal so they will last many years to come and they have great functionality very satisfied

I love that this garden yard flag stand is so tall, because the short stands are easy to miss. At full height, I can hang the garden flag where it is noticeable. The height is adjustable by not assembling all the poles, which are sturdy and threaded the same so you can leave 1 or 2 out if you want or need a different height. I like the pack of two for a great price and the option to hang more than one garden flag.

This is a great flag holder. The directions for assembly were a little confusing. Would recommend.

First time investing in a flag holder with more than two crappy spikes on the bottom, and I've bought A LOT of them!! It felt so much more secure in the ground with 5 spikes. It's also taller than the usual one you can find in a store. But the stake holding it up is still thin and seems like it could bend easily, eventually, when it ages in the outside elements. This is sitting in a cemetery next to my late boyfriend's headstone and I have high expectations that it will hold up for more than 6 months 🤗

This is a nice strong flag holder also nice size.

I wasn't sure if the taller stand would make it easier for it to blow over or lean, but the extra tines keep it steady and straight. Highly recommend and I'm buying a second one.
