PROS - value for what you get - Actually silent, to the point you need to have well-lubed stabilizers or they’ll be annoyingly loud - They don’t feel mushy - Overall just great if you want a silent sound - The switch housing doesn’t feel cheap or low quality - The switches have a perfect fit into the socket; not too tight or loseCONS - NoneOVERALL - I bought these to make a silent Keeb for my mom who hates the sound of mechanical switches, and she fell in love with them. I personally hate the silence just because I love a good-sounding keyboard, but I found the typing experience almost as good as a normal linear switch. The mushy over-lubricated expectation I had was way off the mark; these rock. I accidentally bent a pin on one switch putting it in the keyboard, and was able to explain to my mom over FaceTime how to take out the switch and straighten the bent pin without even having a switch puller on-hand. That was another point in the durable column

Current other silent switch history:- TTC SBW- Durock Silent T1- WS Silent- Kailh WhaleAll of my KPREPUBLIC orders so far had bent pins, take that as you will.Silent Yellow Jade:[5/5]Wow. These are the best silents I've had to date. There is a huge gulf between this and the others. They're the most quiet by a large margin and the most satisfying to type on. You still feel feedback but you don't need that much force to start to depress keys. I've seen these described as being on the heavier side, but I don't feel that way at all. If there is any reason someone might have an issue with these switches, it's probably due to not having an outwardly arousing sound, especially since they are just simply quiet. Another possible complaint could be travel distance.Silent Lemon/Lime:[1/5]Very light and low distance (positive). I did not have issues typing/gaming. If you have weak fingers for some reason, these will cover you. They do not have the mushy feeling described by other people online to me, especially not compared to certain silent linears such as Aqua King. However, they have a low amount of tactility. They don't have much texture going down or up and feel very "hollow". The bottom out sound is very annoying+clacky on these compared to other Silents.Related to other reviews I've seen across the internet: I'm not sure if travel distance/lightness is necessarily the reason for the switches feeling less satisfying. I've tried Beers, Rose Glaciers, and SBW which have similar specs but feel more cathartic. I would not compare them to Browns or linears which is another thing I've seen.

This review is for the silent yellow jade switches. At the time of purchase, they were $22.80. I'm using these stock/unmodified. I tested these outside of my keyboard, in my keyboard with no keycaps, and in my keyboard with keycaps.Finding an affordable, heavy, silent tactile switch was a difficult task, and these definitely fit the "affordable" requirement. The first question I had before purchasing was if these were actually silent. I'd tried several other silent switches, and those were still loud enough to feel disruptive. The Silent Yellow Jades are actually quiet.Like another reviewer mentioned, most of the sound is from keys with stabilizers (i.e., the spacebar). I'm confident that these could be used in the same room as a light sleeper without waking them. The next most important factor was weight. I have tremors in my fingers, and I need heavy switches to mitigate the shaking. I was running into issues using Boba U4T switches, which are a bit lighter. Initially, I was concerned that the weight difference wouldn't be significant. The quick initial tests I did weren't sufficient for assessing the difference in weight. After frequent usage of the Silent Yellow Jades, I've found these to be the ideal weight. Not heavy enough to cause strain after prolonged use, and not too light to where I'm double-pressing keys. There are a couple of issues that bother me enough to rate this as 4-star instead of 5. These switches can feel a little "mushy", almost reminiscent of a membrane keyboard. The tactile bump is not as satisfying as the Boba U4T, and it leaves something to be desired. The other issue is bent pins. Out of the packaging, some of the switches will have bent pins. Fortunately, they are relatively easy to fix, even with unsteady hands: gently and slowly push them into place using something thin and flat, such as a credit card. Unfortunately, this gets tedious quickly and can be frustrating. It also is an issue with just about every switch I've tried.Overall, these are fantastic value and I strongly recommend them as a budget-friendly, silent, tactile switch. No modifications are needed. They truly are silent, feel good to use, and, for the most part, are high quality products.

I bought these keycaps for a keeb (QK65v2) that I was hoping to build for use in a classroom setting. The switches themselves have a nice tactile feel and are mostly silent.Depending if you want to put in the extra effort into taking them apart and lubing these switches, it will make a slight difference in the overall experience making it more smooth to type on. If you are a first time keyboard builder, having these non-lubricated will not change your experience too drastically until you are more attuned to the sound profile and feel of various types of switches.Pros:-A good price for an ample amount of switches (especially if you are buying a bunch for a larger build)-Relatively quiet switches (the overall sound will depend on the build of your keyboard and the amount of sound dampening material you include in it as well.)-Stock feels relatively smooth if you aren't too keen on lubricating them yourself or not particular about it.Cons:-Might want to lubricate the switches if you are a keyboard enthusiast.-The disassembly of each switch is rather a challenging and tedious process.

Very happy with these, they’re nicely weighted, the tactility is distinct but not too snappy, and they're very smooth. Silent tactile switches aren’t perfectly silent, but these are quiet and don’t have much in the way of leaf noise - durock silent shrimps are much louder in comparison. The price for 110 switches is outstanding, if you ask me. They’re great switches, and the fact they’re affordable makes them very easy to recommend.

The Outemu Silent Jade Yellows are my first silent switches. After swapping my Gateron Red switches with these, I can say that the volume difference is night and day!I'm just using the switches stock (I did not lube or film them), and they are super quiet and no spring ping on both the bottom out and the release. The bottom out feels noticeably soft compared to non-silent switches, which may not be for everyone.

I love my Cherry Brown switches, but needed quieter one for my work keyboard. I got the Outemu Limes and they 100% did the trick. They are shockingly quiet for a heavy tactile switch. I'd say they make about as much noise as a laptop keyboard but at a lower pitch. These are some seriously affordable switches for what you get.Only downside was a number came with bent pins, some easily salvageable, others not so much.

The switches are very quiet and surprisingly tactile. The tactile bump is almost as long as the entire key travel, providing very nice feedback when typing. Outstanding performance considering the low price.

The switches are nice. However, a lot of the pins of the switches were damaged/not straight.
