My 6 year old granddaughter loves to watch me sew. I wanted to introduce her sewing, but all I could do was give her a square piece of cloth and a needle and thread and let her practice going in and out. Then, I saw this sewing kit on Amazon and knew it was the perfect gift. She completed the first project two days ago and can't wait to get started on the next. This is a great gift for any child. My 5 year old son received it and was able to make most of the sewing projects with minimal assistance. He was very excited and enjoyed making them. Bought this set for a six year old after she was interested in sewing from watching me do small mending repairs at home. She opened it and completed the first little project immediately. The set comes with everything needed to complete all the projects pictured and was well organized in. So far I’m impressed with this set and would highly recommend
