Frequently Asked Questions

What is the optimal storage condition for the foam can?

The foam can should ideally be stored at temperatures between 41 °F and 77 °F to ensure the longest shelf life. It is essential to store and transport the can in an upright position and keep it at room temperature for at least 12 hours before use for optimal performance.

How should I apply the foam for the best results?

Before application, shake the can well and attach the adapter securely to the valve. For best results, hold the can upside down and press the valve to activate the foam. Moistening the surfaces and the foam itself can enhance adhesion and reduce the curing time.

How can I clean the foam after application?

Fresh foam should be cleaned immediately using Kraken Bond Foam Cleaner. If the foam has already cured, it must be removed mechanically, as it cannot be cleaned with chemicals after curing.

Safety Precautions

  • Outdoor Use: Yes, but coat or paint the cured foam to prevent UV damage.
  • Precautions: Use in well-ventilated areas with protective gear.
  • Temperature Caution: Keep can below 122 °F and away from sunlight.
  • Handling: Do not pierce/burn can; store upright and avoid ignition sources.
  • Child Safety: Keep out of children's reach.

It worked well just keep it mind it will be liquidity at first and super sticky. Patience is important i made a mess because I was impatient and underestimated it's expansion.

Once sprayed it triples in size! Generous amount, does its job and price is great! Glad I bought it. Spray nozzle worked very well till the end. I used all of it without any problem.

Useless, gets less than a 1/3rd in and runs out of pressure. I do not recommend this product

It's very similar to Great Stuff and other brands I've used over the years.Super effective, while also messy and frustrating until you gain experience. However, the plastic straw is larger diameter and less flexible (kinks easily) vs other brands I've used.- - - The extra-tall 24-oz. can - - -The double-height can is a hassle because:1. Gets in the way of reaching high spaces or tight spaces (must hold can upside down, and the plastic straw is only 7" long).2. Too tall (13-3/8" with cap) for most shelves. (Instructions say to store vertically.)3. It's heavier than smaller cans (harder to hold at arm's length for extended periods).4. Wasteful in most situations. (Unused portion goes bad after...not sure...a few days or weeks?)(see Note 1)- - - Unanswered Questions - - -No info provided for:1. Maximum gap size.2. Expansion factor (It's high...not "minimally expanding.")3. Shelf life after first use.4. Volume of foam output5. Shake frequently while using?- - - Notes - - -Note 1: You can make a little kit for cleaning out the plastic straw and screw-on fitting. Use thick wire or a 3/16" rod. Paper clip, drywall screw. But the can innards will probably seize up over time.

I ordered this to fill in the crack between our driveway and the house foundation where our garage door meets the driveway. I cleaned out the area with a shop vac, and then sprayed this in before we added a sealant on top. Very easy to use, fun to watch it expand, and it made the process simple.
