I connected this 8" sub with a pair of KRK Classic 5 monitors and the resuts are fabulous- crisp, clean, clear, sound. Bravo!

This is something that has always eluded me. The amount of bass this outputs is absolutely ridiculous. I have never owned a sub that wasn't part of a sound system bundle, so the idea of a mid-range priced sub was something I never really thought about. I thought it was sufficient enough with studio monitors, but from what I've experienced with other people's set-ups was that my layout is not optimal. To help alleviate that constraint, I decided to purchase this unit and I am glad that I did. I wanted to test out if this sub lived up to the reviews and recommendations from others and boy did it do that and then some more. I tuned it higher to see where the threshold was for distortion, but the only thing that was distorting was my showcase! The amount of bass and clarity is amazing. As the first standalone sub unit I owned, it definitely is top quality for the price!

VERY impressed with these subs-I've ordered two so far, one for my vinyl listening/recording station and the other for my office computer desktop, using an external Focusrite Scarlett DAC in the office and a ProTools HD in the vinyl room. Both are being used with V-series tops; V6 and V4 respectively. Dialed in they are smooth, extended, and the built in amplifiers seem up to the task of filling both medium sized rooms of @ 15' x 15' each (in spite of their near-field studio-design) and are quiet enough to add nothing to the listening experience. Totally recommend these!

Ive been browsing the market for a resonably priced studio subwoofer for a few months and eventually decided to get the KRK 10s V2. It has already surpassed all of my expectations for it. The crossover alone has cleaned up my 5" combo monitors so much, its worth buying just for that. The POWER this thing can output is absolutley insane. A friend of mine owns the first generation KRK 10s and I'm glad to see they added ¼" TRS outputs and a gain switch under the gain knob to change it from a "high" gain to "nominal" gain. They also added a status LED on the front of the sub so you can see if it is on or clipping. For the price (I got lucky and found this one for $319), you really cannot find anything close in its price range even at the $399 it is usually sold for. Overall very pleased with this product and i hope this review is useful to those who are unsure about which studio subwoofer to choose.

This subwoofer is the perfect compliment to my krk rokit 8s. This setup has incredible power and accuracy. The bass from the subwoofer is epic and unbelievably clean. This is how bass should be heard. Ignore the price tag. If you're into music, you will 1000% not be disappointed by this sub.

Before I bought it I wasn't too sure how big a difference it would make, or if I should have gone for the 12". However, after receiving this sub and pairing it to two KRK Rokit 8's, I'm blown away and very happy with the choice I made.Seeing as the 10" is basically half the price of the 12", This is absolutely the correct sub to go with your Rokit 5's or 8's.It makes a world of difference.

For the price its great especially the amount of bass it pumps out. Its perfect for my little studio. But recently it broke and wasn't working properly which I write off as simply chance but the good part comes that they give you a 3 year warranty so I was covered so the Gibson company, the maker of the KRK line did good in my book to make me happy. Will update with my setup for those who are curious about dropping the money on this subwoofer.

The product itself is amazing and works great but this is the second time I've ordered a large electronic device from amazon and it shows up messed up. This time specifically I watched as the delivery driver tossed my speaker over the fence to the backyard onto concrete for no good reason. I didn't request any special delivery options. He just took it upon himself to break my speaker. You're better off going to an actual place and buying it there and knowing it won't be damaged.

Cross over / bass volume can be adjusted via knob at the back.It has RCA and balanced outputs for 2 speakers.Very easy to setup a 2.1 system using this.

Lo uso con un par de Rokit 5 G3's y extiende muy bien el rango de frecuencia. El sonido es muy limpio y controlado. Además es muy potente; apenas necesito un poco mas de un cuarto de volumen para tener el rango necesario. Es bastante grande, asà que hay que asegurarse de tener espacio suficiente.

Bought this to complement my Rokit 5's. Allows them to focus on mids/highs while leaving the low register for the sub. The bass sounds good to me (using the SONOS Sub as a reference in my living room) and has great features. Allowing for XLR is great. The Crossover is great. The sturdiness of this sub is awesome.Love KRK.

Lo amé desde la primera vez que lo encendÃ, tiene unas frecuencias bajas muy limpias y el sub woofer puedes ajustar 4 niveles de crossover para elegir con un máximo de 90hz, lo recomiendo.
