This fits perfectly in our crate. The cool side is really cool and other warmer. My puppy loves this sleep in. He’s a golden doodle when he gets to hot he flips it himself. He’s so funny. He’s thrown up on it a couple of times. Washes beautifully!! Still like new washed 4 times since I got it. He pulled his bed out of his crate after he got this. Only thing he sleeps on at night. We love it he loves it worth its weight in gold. I love how he loves this soft thick pad. It’s not thin at all it’s thick after it fluffs up. I want one for my bed!! Very strong holds up to dog scratching to fluff up - teeth pulling it out of crate, naps, full night sleep and toy tasting. Best mat I’ve seen or had. I can’t make this for what I bought it for!!!

I really like this bed (haven't had it long to comment on longevity), but be wary: the sizes do not correspond to crate sizes. For instance, I ordered the 48" because I have a 48" crate, thinking that it would correspond (but I suppose I just wasn't thinking about actual length vs. crate inside length, etc, so that's probably on me). It's exactly what I want for the bottom of the crate, I just have to send it back to get a smaller size. Looking at the other options and the dimensions of my crate, I don't think any of them will be a perfect fit (for a standard crate designed for airline travel), but will get a lot closer by going down a size or so.Side note, I also was a bit wary that the canvas side wouldn't be very soft, but it definitely finds a happy medium between being soft to the touch/comfy for my pup and feeling pretty durable.I anticipate once I get the proper size I will be quite pleased with it.

My dog hasn't chew this one up, so that is a five star right there! It has the soft side for warmth, but flip it over and it has a nice cover that cools your dog.It is easy to clean. Just wipe with a wet cloth. Let dry. Done!!
