inexcusable failure. Float should last the life of the tank. Gage reads empty with a 2/3 tank

The O-ring is a PITA to keep set, and sometimes will bind the slide-rod holding the gauge at a certain depth requiring the gauge to need to be unscrewed and rescrewed losely. The gauge doesn't register full at it's real full mark. I'm not sure if it's improper measuring on my part of the tank depth or on Krueger. But, as long as this one doesn't break, it's better than the old one that wouldn't work anymore it replaced.

The gauge worked well for my 350 gallon tank, but was in the sun a lot. The plastic housing around the float meter cracked and the gauge stopped working not even two years after installing it. (November 2016 to June 2018)

Best inexpensive fuel gauge on the market. The ability to install perpendicularly without having to guess is a real plus.

Junk. Leaks terribly and float broke off in tank.

That is the 1st gauge that has actually worked in my oil tank. Love it can actually tell how much oil I have in the tank
