I liked the size and the quality of these plates, But I do find that they tend to have little scratches here and there that do show up on intaglio prints, So if you need your print to be completely clean with no scratches buying your plate online might not be a good idea due to the possibility they could be best up a bit during transit? But as somebody who embraces small imperfections in their prints it worked perfect for me!

I do some metalsmithing (jewelry), and occasionally use for pendants and etched decorative items. It has been quite a while since I last purchased copper sheet, so I experienced a shock when I saw modern prices! This was the most reasonable solution. The copper sheet arrived in good condition, but with a very slight bend. That minor flaw can be easily corrected. Overall I've been quite happy with the product. It's the perfect thickness for the pieces I am making.

This was part of an etching set for a nephew. I found etching to be a cool art hobby, and I wanted to share this with him. I didn't get to see him use this, but these plates look fairly good.

Bought because my floors are cupping at the corner of my bed. See my pic. I stacked 2 over the cup with my bed frame foot sitting on top of it. Seems to be holding & not bending. Temporary fix until I can afford to get my floor repaired.

Honestly solid copper is hard to come by, specially if you are a printmaker. I absolutely recommend this store, I buy a couple pieces each month for Intaglio etchings. They are usually packaged cleanly, with extra padding. All the copper sheets i’ve bought have had little to no scratching and don’t have any oil marks or discoloration. They are thick and easy to work with! Plus no warping so far. They react very well to the ferric acid, and i’ve had no problem etching these plates.

Opened package and found the referenced scratches; will need to remove it all before using; so unexpected. Haven’t had this problem when purchased via Blick’s - unsure what the issue is. Ugh!!!

Its a fine product..came clean, no bent edges. I wasn't thinking when i thought i could cut this easily. Its about as thick as a penny..maybe a little more. I have strong hands but a lot of cutting with snips required two hands.. otherwise good product

It was much thicker than I wanted but the artist I gave it to thought they could use it. Beautiful and it was hard to give away since it felt so lovely. Heavy.

These copper plates are very well packaged, so the surface is clean and free of scratches. Perfect for easy preparation for etching.The edges still need to be filed to prevent cutting of the paper when using for printmaking. And of course a light wet sanding and polishing before applying hard or soft ground. But compared to the local construction copper I usually buy these are a dream to prep for intaglio printmaking.
