I did a lot of looking around at different racks and settled on this on. I am only using this for storage. This rack has good weight and is solid.sturdy wheels on it with 2 that lock.i bought the 16 space rack.its a good hieght for what i need it for. I also bought the 2 space drawer from this same company and that is also soid and fits perfectly. The drawer also has a lock. I will be buying 2 4 space and 2 3 space drawers to fill it up.i have medical coding books i will be storing in them along with my wireless guitar system and other studio equipment.i would recomend this for your home studio. I will be purchasing another in the future for my rack equipment. The delivery was quick and it was all pack really well. No damage at all.

Love this rack. It was very easy to build. Very strong. I did use my compact drill to drive the screws in. The provide a Phillips head screw driver.

I got this to replace a RAB audio angled rack because it was too hard to actually access the back and I do not have enough gear for a patchbay. I was afraid that it was going to look bad or at least not as classy as the RAB that design wise is amazing.Well, it didn’t disappoint!! I got used to the traditional look very quick and actually like it a lot! And the space on top is a plus. It made so easy to access the back panels to change connections! It also dissipate heat better than the RAB costing $300+ (but the design justifies it).I could not believe when I saw the price since all similar products are all $150 and up in average. I was on a budget since I could not first sale the RAB or else I wouldn’ t have had a rack for my gear in the meantime.I was expecting relatively low quality but it is sturdy and solid, wheels also are solid. No manual as mentioned already but the video in the other review walks you through the steps.

For the price, it seems like a great value. That is until you find that one whole side of the rack has problematic threads. The holes on other side seems to be ok. Seems like I have to go buy a tap and clean out the problematic threads before I install hardware into the rack. I was not expecting that.Like others have noted, you get no directions. If time is money, maybe it would be more cost effective to spend more and not have clean up a bunch of threads.

This worked perfectly for me. I installed a 1u power conditioner, three 2u audio processors, and a 2u drawer. I’m going to install another drawer and I’ll be set. It came with a plate to cover up a 1u void and it’ll come in handy since I’ll only use 11 spaces. Assembly wasn’t difficult, I watched a video online and got through it pretty easily. I don’t travel with it, it just sits in my home studio.
