My wife bought me this sax for my 59th birthday bcs I "mentioned" in passing I always wanted to play the sax. I am so elated, so pleased she did! This sax plays wonderfully for a beginner. It achieves the notes we are capable of playing and looks sexy at the same time and yes I am bringing sexy back at 60... Thank you Honey and to the makers of this awesome instrument you may not be a Selmer but this Sax is solid!

I bought this for my 48 year old son for his birthday, he has never touched an instrument of any kind in his life but always wanted to play the Saxophone, (why didn't I know that??), but it arrived in perfect condition, it is a beautiful instrument, and we couldn't be happier! I ordered the Black and it is stunning in appearance!! He is trying to learn on his own and has only had it for 3 days but he is making progress one day at a time! (I will be buying a silencer to tone down the music a little for him while learning). For all the negative reviews, I found nothing to complain about. The price is perfect for a beautiful saxophone for someone who has never played anything before. Buy this! Its just perfect!!!

My 12-yo granddaughter walks to school, 1.5 miles each way, straight up a hill. She appreciates not having to lug her saxophone, along with her book bag/ backpack. She says that she can practice well, at home, with this one and that she will be able to use it for practice even if she switches to a tenor sax.
