Delivery was right on time and in very good condition.....of course I had to rip it open and see if all the other reviews were as good as they were saying.well it actually was better than I expected it to be.honestly I can't believe klaxton wouldn't want their name on it.... it's that good for the price the only thing everyone who's really going to play it hard you need to order new strings at the time you buy the guitar.these just won't do the job for any real players.i also if you're one of those folks that like to make good guitars into unbelievable guitars.then I also think it's a good candidate for you guys....

So first off, not an expert with guitars. What can i say. This worked great for a beginner. Everything seems fine. sound comes out. all the knobs seem to work. Finish looks smooth. as for sound quality I cant say either way. Sounds "fine to me" but again very much a novice. I cant knock off points for sound quality or anything "wrong with it" Its an electric guitar, plug it into an amp and strum and sound comes out. Adjust strings and the sound changes. About the most i can say.

Looked amazing once unboxed. Never had another guitar before, but this one suits my needs. Perfect size for me 5’5â€. Has great sound once tuned and the amp does its’ job. Happy with purchase.

As others have stated, this is a Glarry product. Ktaxon is merely a distributor. Having said that, the kit is not bad for the money. The amp works although the drive channel is a bit of a joke. Better off getting an inexpensive drive pedal separately if needed. Plenty to be had on Amazon. The clean tones are fine. Has enough volume for a practice amp. Seems to have a decent speaker magnet given the weight. The guitar was playable in the cowboy chord area although the action will need to be lowered for upper fret play. The strings will also not last very long. While the nut measures at 42mm, it hangs off the edge a bit on each side so the playable size is more like 40mm which is good for children and adults with shorter fingers. The tuners are a decent ratio and tune up very well. Aside for a small rough patch on the neck, the fit and finish are fine. A few swipes with fine grit sandpaper fixed it easily. The only other real complaint is that the middle single coil pickup is either very weak, or not hooked up correctly. Barely audible compared to the two humbuckers. No matter for me as I really do not need it. For those who have a notched neck checker, the Fender scale works fine on this. Overall, it is a good beginner guitar kit for the price. And for those who do not know how to change strings or do basic guitar setup, there are tons of free videos online. It really is not that hard. Enjoy!

Beginner guitar for child. Not too expensive and not cheaply made. She enjoys it and has no complaints.

I bought this a week and a half ago and even though it was delivered in good timing, the box was all cracked and broken up and so is the guitar with little craters and dents in it and I feel as if I regretted buying this just because of the fact that I payed an extra $30 in shipping and it comes to my house damaged .

Firstly this is a "Glarry" branded guitar and amplifier. I was hoping Ktaxon was a different company , and maybe they'd have better quality and setup. Nope, it has "Glarry" written on the headstock as well as on the amp. I wouldn't have purchased this if I'd known. The ad is deceiving, Glarry has a bad rep, so they changed the name, and blank it out of the pictures to sell?. The guitar is not set up at all. The nut is way to high, and off center. No intonation done either. Pickups not sitting right, and sound bad. Strings are cheap, neck has rough poorly sanded spots, fret board is very, very dry, the frets have sharp edges and I cut myself fairly good. Some were not leveled or installed properly. Tuners are garbage, a couple miss and grind when adjusting. Very cheap port for the patch cord, prob the worst I've seen. Out of the box it is unplayable. It needs loads of work to make it bearable. The amplifier is just as cheap and bad quality. Similar to the picture, but has Glarry written in silver on the front, I was glad they didn't send me the bass amp they have pictured when I opened it, but then I turned it on. It's horrible ..even for a cheap amp. It barely works. The control knobs have basically a on/off functionality. They don't adjust hardly at all, a couple it's either off or low as posb or on. It's one of the worst amps I've ever used. I think it must be defective. Overall I think this is not worth the price at all. Very disappointed with it. Don't waste your money. Yes I knew it was a budget, cheap guitar. But I've never seen worse than both of these. (I've had my share of cheap guitars and amps over the years)
