I modified my vintage Lafayette bass and installed 2x2 tuners so I couldn’t use the stock case anymore. I saw this one on Amazon for 89.99 plus free Prime shipping and it looked very close to other Fender, Crossrock, Gator and Guitar Fetish cases I had and was cheaper in price so I took a chance on it.It’s a very good cheap alternative to Fender deluxe cases although the material is definitely cheaper in quality. The craftsmanship overall is very close except for the lock straps which do feel cheap as well as the carrying handle. The inside also has cheap material but it is very well made. I wish the storage compartment was bigger and covered the entire mid-section but I certainly appreciate having one generally speaking.The case measurements are indicated in the Amazon listing and specs but I assumed this would fit my vintage offset Lafayette case but not quite. I had to adjust the body and press against the foam wall to make it fit. This also created a slight bulge protruding as seen in the pics but that’s fine with me since it’s my own fault for not verifying my bass measurements. I’ll probably need a different case way down the road but this will do for now since it’ll mostly be home with me.Overall, I’m totally satisfied with the quality given the price. You’d probably find the better quality at Guitar Fetish for the same price plus taxes and shipping but if you want something pretty good right now, then this is perfect. Also, I definitely wouldn’t recommend buying it for an offset bass like a Jaguar or maybe Mustang, I think this case is more for a P-Bass or one with a “normal†body.I also noticed the physical tag said “Glarry†instead of “Ktaxon.†Not a real issue, just an observation.

The case arrived with some minor damage...however it is a good value and my bass fits perfectly.

This was the perfect gift for my dad. He absolutely loves the case. The padding on the inside protects his guitar and is the right size to hold it. The wooden outside of the case keeps it safe in case it drops or it's bumped against anything.

This is a very good 'general fit' case for a fender j-bass or p-bass, not having a really defined interior shape.It's a little bit flexy, and the build quality is ok.I wouldn't use it if I were going to fly with an expensive instrument, but for local stuff and/or inexpensive guitars, it's pretty good.
