Simple to set up and to get started with easy to understand rules. The game play is interesting and it's fun to figure out the puzzle of getting what you need for your recipes. The production is also quite nice. Some people have trouble a bit of trouble with the color for tomatoes. Perhaps it should have been a deeper red? It looks fine to me but more than a couple of people have made the mistake of thinking tomato dice are carrots until they see and compare the light orange ones that are supposed to be carrots.

My favorite games are the ones where I can learn it in ten minutes and enjoy playing again and again. This game is super fun, easy, and enjoyable! Also an affordable game option.

Fun game for 6 and 8 year olds, they loved being given a cardboard cleaver to chop things. The instructions are not totally thorough and clear, it took a long while for me to make sense of it, which annoyed the children endlessly, but extra props for having to use math!

When I saw this game I had to have it. I Played it with family the day it was delivered. I bought it for my students and the classroom board games collection. I may have to buy a second one for myself. The artwork is great and the game is fun. I can see why people collect these games.

The game consists of completing “ingredient cards†by playing dice from your collection. Each dice represents a different ingredient (e.g., tomatoes are red, mushrooms grey). The hook of the game is using a cardboard cleaver to cut out sections of dice to claim your ingredients. The pool of dice you cut from is easily formed with the included frame and utilized later in the game. All in all, a fun, light and small game that can be played relatively quickly. There are a few other mechanics to the game

Played this game at adult game night and with kids (around 5). The kids needed a bit of help at the beginning, then were good. Everyone enjoyed the game.
