Though the squeeze removers work, there are times it’s just easier to remove a staple with a straight tool under the center. I also use an old stapler that allows me to staple things to a bulletin board or a wall. So the staple goes straight in without bending the ends.I had a couple when I was teaching in a school, but couldn’t find them. Glad I’ve replaced them.

Great looking and useful staple removal. It is long vice the regular two teeth stapler removal so I can just carry in my pocket and it lays flat. Sturdy and works great. The price was very good because it comes in a pack of six so I can share with my peers.

I love these because they are so much easier to handle than the "claw"-type staple removers. And I think everybody who uses these where I used to work agrees because they began using them instead of the "claw"-type, also.
