I fished with one of these last weekend and they work fine. You will need a second buoy when using this or any other leaded line as the line will sink just one buoy. I learned this the hard way and lost two traps. Having a second buoy also makes finding and retrieving them easier especially where I go (Pacific ocean near Golden gate bridge). You really can't beat the price of these anywhere.

I found this to be the cheapest that I found. I have not used it yet but it feels really good. I would tie the rope again to the Bouy because it’s doesn’t look too secure. Besides that ,, no complaint

Good price and convenient comboThe rope is of a slightly lower quality than some of the other ropes I have purchased. That said, this rope will do the job well is unlikely to wear out unless its given excessive abuse.

Works fine. The float is little light when using with a heavy crab trap on out going tide. The leaded line works great.

I needed to get a leaded rope to go crabbing and the length was great and the leaded rope was solid and strong. The buoy was an extra bonus that I liked about this purchase. They both worked great

Had a chance to get the gear out in the water. Rope is high quality and sinks properly, yet is surprisingly easy on the hands when pulling traps bare handed. The bobber works great, had no problems in the field.
